A fun selection of Classic Dungeons and Dragons scenarios!
This is a collection of a series of scenarios from past editions rewritten and updated for 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons rules. To play you need to own the Players Hand Book and the Dungeon Masters Guide and Monster Manual and of course 4 players and one referee is recommended.Scenarios range in level from the fun Sunless Citadel ideal for new comers to the infamous tournament scenario the Tomb of Horrors to give experienced veterans a challenge. The book has a nice reworked range of levels 1 to 11. It is not really a campaign and there is a weak subplot to try and link them but there really is no need to. My players had fun with it. When you want to have some D&D fun but not have the time for a overly long campaign, this is the ideal pick up.

A Great Resource for experienced DMs
A collection of tried and tested D&D classics that can be run either as standalone adventures for an average-sized party from level 1 right up to level 15 or so, or linked together into a full campaign. For the latter approach, I'd only recommend running the book as a campaign without excluding Tomb of Horrors if you and your players are fine with a final adventure which may kill many of the characters they've become attached to over the months!Personally, I'd advise against the campaign approach unless your players are experienced at playing a variety of different pre-made adventures, because the inconsistency between adventures may confuse a new group. The adventures presented span D&D's long history, and represent some of the best from their particular editions; and they all bear the stamps of what was typical of the game in their respective eras. You'll find the tricky riddles and puzzles and uncanny monster encounters of early D&D, the granular, detailed rooms of 3rd edition (very nostalgic if you started in 3rd like me), and the cinematic, character-focused storytelling of 5th (note: There are no 4th edition adventures because the more boardgame-like mechanics of that edition probably wouldn't translate well). Each adventure has been lovingly updated to 5th edition rules with new maps and artwork (you can buy high resolution digital versions of the maps online for a reasonable price from the artist, or just draw your own maps out as needed) and comes with a brief description of how it came to be, and how to fit it into your campaign setting of choice.Even if you don't run any of these adventures, they have value as a masterclass in dungeon design from the best, plus a bunch of new magic items to use, but it's likely if you need a standalone adventure for a rainy day, or a short mini-campaign, you'll find something in here.

A nice not so little book
This book is a really nice addition to any D&D campaign weather is a pre written or homebrew campaign, adding really well written dungeons with encounters already planned out. This is also really nice for some nostalgia for older players who have played through these dungeons in older editions if the game.

From an initial view this product is precisely what I expected it to be. The production value is as usual excellent. Have not yet had time to check whether the internal cross-referencing of information is consistent, and how straightforward it is to use this material to run the adventures inside....

Revisit legendary modules
The reason I bought this is for its inclusion of the G1-3 "Against the Giants" modules updated for 5E. These are classic modules from the golden age of (A)D&D, and the adaption to 5E improves the settings without damaging the nostalgia.Art work is professional and an order of magnitude "better" than the original - although the naivety in the old modules has a raw charm which can't be replaced.

Dungeontastic
Probably the best adventure resource(aside from Curse of Strahd) released for the new 5th edition. Not only does it have nostalgia value( who doesn't remember playing Against the Giants or Tomb of Horrors) but that it introduces these epic dungeon crawls to a new audience, neatly in order that with little work a mini campaign could be made.About time for Queen of the Demonweb pits/scourge of the slavelords i think!

fantastic set of dungeon crawling adventures adapted from past editions ...
fantastic set of dungeon crawling adventures adapted from past editions of D&D for 5E, you can easily work some of these dungeons into some of the other 5th edition campaigns, the cursed shrine of tamoachan and tomb of horrors can easily be worked into tomb of annihilation for example but I won't spoil more then that, I highly recommend this book

Toyp quick review
The book itself is great, quality your used to from watch. The price was also great, haven't read through the adventures yet but glad the monsters are fully converted from th old models, although from what I've read so far not all are direct conversions the cr has been adjusted so the dm can run the adventures as a campaign from level 1 to 10 I believe.
