Q: Would the internal pocket fit a laptop? Or to be more precise a 17inch Mac Book.

As mentioned there is no separate internal pocket, just the main bag, however, this does fit a 17 inch Mac book. I use it to commute with mine every day. Can easily fit Mac, gym stuff, change of shoes etc.

Q: Had it 10 months now it has started to have very thin white hair like stuff coming out of the seams, this normal? what can i do?

I have a LOMO bag - this has happened to it too but LOMO instructions explain it is normal, not a fault, and does not affect integrity of bag / waterproofing
