Excellent lightweight, comfortable, strong, well made item which I actually use as a shin pad for football games with friends, although I would definitely use it as a knee or elbow pad if I needed to protect or support any sort of injury. In fact I have just ordered another pair to use when the current ones become worn, just in case they stop making them !

Tried these for work where I'm constantly crawling around on my knees I have to say they seem great so far really comfortable and do what I need from them ..wish I brought some years ago

Good quality; thin enough to fit under some skinny trousers, but thick enough to do their job (light protection - not suitable for tilers/builders etc). I should add that you'll want to go a size up from the chart if you have particularly muscular calves and thighs: that goes by knee circumference, and I guess assumes a runner's physique for the rest of the fitment.

I use when whilst plaing american football but i ise them as elbow pads and they are just bloody fantastic to use! really comfortable and provide great padding.

Bought these for my knees on a recent snowboarding holiday and I must say they feel like they will offer great protection (although I never took any serious falls to test them out!). I was initially concerned at the build quality (the stitching around the elastic doesn't appear too great), but they survived a week of extensive use and seem like they've got plenty of life left in them.Overall, a real bargain!

Bought these to compete in Multiple OCR races and they are brilliant. No OCR kisses for me with these!!

Ordered XL - what came was packaged as XL (even the support itself has X-Large printed in it) but it was so small it barely got up my calf - once forced on my knee, it was so tight it was cutting the circulation off! Returning it for an alternative.

We definitely prefer McDavid kneepads over other brands because a good kneepad needs to provide adequate protection as well as not constrict movement and these kneepads provide that perfect balance. These kneepads are durable but they won’t last forever, which is what is expected. My personal opinion is that these kneepads are the best out in the market and highly recommend it to kids playing basketball.

These pads are excellent. They are priced low enough to replace every year, my first set lasted 5. This is with daily use under work pants. They are really comfortable and the break in period was a day or two. No pinching the back of my legs. I'm a commercial carpenter and these are light enough to not even notice. They aren't hard by any means so they won't save you from sharp or small and hard objects, but just getting down on your knees to work, look, grab whatever, your knees will thank you.
