Good Value and easy to install.
You get miles of protector in this roll (13 ft to be precise). Decide on the length of strip you want on your door, measure it out, look for the marks on the rubber that indicate the spaces between the metal reinforcing and cut with a sharp knife. (Scissors don't really work). Then tap the strips into place on your doors. Job done in a couple of minutes. I have a dark blue car and I hardly notice the strips. I used a black permanent marker to color the exposed reinforcing at each end of the strips.

be careful where you cut it
It works and clips just great.Be careful where you cut it though as it consists of tiny clipping segments. If you remove the black plastic over the segment it will get rusty and this will be visible. Thus it needs to be cut carefully between two segments, without revealing the segment to avoid moisture exposure.

Easy to apply
Very easy to use. Although an older lady with arthritic hands managed fine. Pleased that pushes on and isn't sticky. Pleased I read other reviews and then knew how to remove small metal clip from either end although if you cut in right place this isn'tnecessary. Only have it on two front doors at present. Perhaps should have got longer length as not sure yet if it will fit all doors

Perfect for adding windows to a panel van!
Skimping on this stuff is a mistake; this will even out your window installation and make it much easier to get the window level, as well as reducing the risk of sharp metal scratching the window if it needs to be maneuvered once 'almost' installed. This one's a great example; it goes on incredibly easily (didn't even need a screwdriver to pry it open), yet holds itself on perfectly once there - the barb design in brilliant. It includes a couple of pieces of metal running the length of the item which help to keep it a bit more rigid - it's worth getting a bit of anti-rust paint on these (carefully!) as bare metal will always rust and rust will always spread. You should have tonnes of spare from cutting holes in the van though, so no worries! This was just the right amount to do the side door window in an XLWB Ducato - leaving around 2.5ft spare - I wouldn't want to have risked a smaller size, and we're going to be able to use the rest to create 'door edge protectors' for those threatening park-by-wall situations.

Excellent product - could do with better instructions for cutting
Excellent product - could do with better instructions for cutting. It has metal pieces inside and obviously it is hard to cut there. Also any exposed metal seems to rust really quickly. Need to be able to deal with that issue, but otherwise fitting and finish is superb.

Not good quality - waste of money
Wouldn’t recommend - every few inches the plastic is folded incorrectly so you can’t put it onto the car lip. Massive waste of money and I will be requesting a refund bc I can’t use it.

Peace of mind from door edge damage.
Feels like a quality product.A bit fiddly to cut to size as it has segmented metal running through it. Cut between the metal sections and it's an easy fit.It slips onto the edge of the door and requires a little force to seat it properly but once on it's great.Looks good and I think it'll provide good edge protection.I'd definitely buy again.

Quick and easy to fit
Excellent product although I did some measuring first to make sure it would fit between the doors as some products are wider than others. I have a Skoda Fabia tdi and the door guards fitted perfectly, just what I wanted and I think enhances the look of the already sporty look. Black door Guarsd on red paintwork...fantastic look.
