Great item!
Purchased this for my young cocker spaniel as she has begun to build a little plaque on her molars. I have looked around to find something that actually works, I don’t want to use any chemicals/powder on her teeth either! I wouldn’t attempt to use a toothbrush as there’s no way it will break down the plaque! So pleased I bought this. Easy to use! Sharp ends so have to be careful when close to the gum. Have sterilised and used on my other two old girls. Definitely buying another! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Very Good
After using Proden Plaque Off on our Lassie dog for a few months, I used this on her front teeth. A combination of the two, (and, our lovely old girl being so patient,) is what made the hard plaque just pull off. I’m glad we bought this and the Plaque Off. A Spaniel we had, (now passed away) suffered with gum disease, I wish we’d researched gum disease in dogs years ago.

Great solution
We have a Cocker Spaniel whose teeth were starting to look dirty, the vet wanted over £350 to clean them under a general anesthetic (with all associated medical risks). Our dog is very laid back so didn't mind me cleaning his teeth (in small sessions), the plaque just chipped off with this tool no obvious discomfort to the dog and teeth now perfectly clean again. Great value compared to the alternative.

Princes teeth look a lot better
Got these to descale my dogs teeth. Made out of stainless steel with a double headed scraper.Very sharp initially si care should be taken when using in your animals mouth. They did a good job and my dog didn’t appear too distressed. Removed a fair amount but I need to have another to.Cheaper then having my dog put to sleep although not as effective as you can scrape harder and remove more when the animal is asleepNot bad though

It Works!
What a brilliant tool! I wish I know about this sooner! I am using it on my very well behaved and patience Jack Russell, but not more than 1 or 2 teeth at the time. The plaque just comes off in pieces, you need to be careful using it and have a bit of common sense not too hurt the gums as it is very sharp. It is a two people job, one holding the dog and one cleaning the teeth. Do not apply to much pressure

Good tool for removing plaque
Bought to (nervously) attempt to remove the plaque from dogs teeth. The tool is good, care must be taken as it is obviously sharp. It is taking time to clear the plaque but the tool does work and we are pleased with it. It has seemed to go a little more blunt after not too long using it, so that's the only reason I would give it 4 stars and not 5.

You need a calm dog
This is exactly as described and amazingly effective. If you have a calm dog, that will let you brush their teeth relatively easily - you’ll be able to slowly and gently scrape off plaque with this.If your dog won’t sit still and let you brush at and touch their teeth - this is no good for you as it is sharp enough you could slip and hurt them.I was slow abs gentle and had amazing results off one short attempt and will keep going till spotless and maintain with daily brushing

Pet Tooth de-scaler
Having read a previous review on this item and how to use I purchased it! My 12 year old spaniel is tolerant of many things and this is no exception. Tackling a tooth a day I have cleaned them up and sweetened her breath. A firm downward movement from the gum to tip, remember the hygienist and our teeth with a firm movemet and you can't go wrong.
