No dust, no smell,& clumps better than anything else I've tried
Love this litter (never thought I'd say that). It clumps really well. There is no dust (amazing!). There's no smell. Litter box is a breeze to clean because if anything sticks to the bottom, which rarely happens, it just chips off in one piece because the litter doesn't crumble into pieces. This litter is the consistency of fine sand, smells like cut grass, and is very lightweight. If there's any smell from the box, I know she has just done her business, so I wait a while to scoop it and give the litter time to solidify it before I clean it. I have the kind of covered litter boxes that you roll to clean the litter and it is even easier to roll because the litter is so lightweight. Litter lasts a long time and after 2 months I'm still on my first bag. I bought the 20 lbs bag and I still have half of it left in the bag. 20 lbs of this is a lot more litter than 20 lbs of clay litter. It still gets tracked, but I have a litter mat and just put the litter in the mat back in the litter pan. If any gets elsewhere in the house it vacuums or sweeps up easily and doesn't hurt your feet if you accidentally step on it. Absolutely amazing litter! 👏

STOP USING SCENTED CLAY LITTER!!!
If you know anything about cats, it's that they DON'T want scented litter...only people want the scent. The SmartCat litter is unscented and extremely soft on the paws. It clumps nicely and almost without any nasty dust that neither you nor your cat want to inhale. Trust me on this...your cat will thank you for buying this litter. I also like that it is made here in the U.S. All around a very good cat litter.

Nightmare by itself but incredible as a blend
So I'm from Wisconsin, love small businesses, and have been trying all kinds of litters in search of a good non-clay litter. I initially tried this by itself and it was The Worst. It is so lightweight - it's almost like sawdust and got all over my long-haired cats and thus all over my entire house. It's way worse at tracking than OkoCat, if that tells you anything. It also clumps, but it kind of makes a mess in trying to scoop it out. However, it has OUTSTANDING odor control. It kind of smells like Cheerios and it really stops odors like nothing I had ever encountered, including clay. But the tracking was so bad that after one round in the litter box I was wondering what I would do with the rest of a 20# bag.I have been using a cassava litter that is really hard to find and so when I got my next shipment of that but had trouble finding it again, I was forced to use this to fill in and discovered the most amazing litter, which is basically 60% cassava/corn - which is pretty heavy and super absorbent but pretty weak at odor control - and 40% this. The combination makes the perfect and probably most sustainable litter, though I really wish everyone would use paper bags instead of plastic. The weight of the other litter keeps this stuff in place and the odor control properties of this has meant I no longer smell the box. The two substances together clump perfectly. I use the blend both in my manual litter box and in my rotating automatic litter box (more like 70% cassava/30% this for that though, as you really need the weight to keep it all from going down the chute).Anyway, I'm sure this would blend well with other heavy litters like walnut, clay, or maybe World's Best, although that might be too light. But I wouldn't use it by itself unless you have tiny shorthaired cats.

Seems cleaner than nasty dusty clay clumping litter
My experience with some clay clumping litters are just a horrible dusty mess this litter seems clean and less dust and I like the cereal smell and the cats do too they all use it. Like any clumping litters it needs scooped daily to help prevent the clumps plastering the bottom and up the corners.

Worst one yet...
This litter smells SO BAD once it is used. It is overpowering even walking to the room to clean the foster kitties boxes and they are cleaned at a bare minimum of twice a day. I normally use Sustainably Yours corn litter but this was suggested as a sub for my subscription. When I can't get that litter I normally pick up some World's Best to tide us over but this time I was sick and couldn't leave the house so I gave this a shot. I'm not sure why it smells so awful...

Zero odor
Visitors always comment on the absence of any cat odor in my home. This works better than any other I have ever used. It was fine in a standard litter box, and also works in an automated box.

Yes it clumps
Yes, it clumps urine really well. However, poop is a different story. The litter already has a distinct smell to it, and with cat poop on top - we haven’t had the best luck. The poop with the litter lets off a very foul odor, almost like rotten eggs. It wafts up from the basement! My cats are also indoor cats with the Abe diet for the past 5 years. This litter works well with urine plus urine odor. But if your cat pops too, I’m sure yours does, I’d test it out first before committing

Love this litter
Switched to this litter and I live it. No dust. Easy to scoop. Does track but not as much as other litters. No smell from litter box. My cats seem fine using it
