I have tried several mounts over the years and found that the only one that did not break was the Ram Mount X-Grip. Unfortunately, my current phone's volume buttons are placed such that the X-Grip presses on the volume up button causing the notification area at the top which includes the time to be obscured. Other mounts broke on the semi-rough roads on which I ride. This mount has held up well for over 2 months.

Like:It worked for my older cell and my current LG 5 Stylo with protective case.Installed on Suzuki Boulevard Touring handlebar for about a year and has not failed so far.Dislike:I was limited on the installation locations on the motorcycle. This is due to partly due to motorcycle features.

I was a little worried about attaching my $1000 cell phone to my bike - no more! This holder holds my cell phone snuggly and is easy to use to boot! Highly recommended!

Had to return it. Rather flimsy and the only way this is getting installed on the bars though is if you remove the brake and grip and slide it on from the end. Absolutely no way the opening where the lock screw is will expand up to 1" or more to slide over the bars without breaking.Useless for my purpose and for most other people's also.

So bad. Phone fell off my bike and shattered the back of it. Doesn’t fit most bars and it couldn’t even stay in one position.

I love this... very useful and it fits my Samsung galaxy as well as my husband's IPhone 7 with his protective case on.

Holds my galaxy s8 plus with lifeproof case perfect!

Super cheap. Rattles. Poor quality.
