depends on your BBQ mine went up to 800 so you dont whant to eave cover of BBQ down all the time then pizza turns black 700 is a better temp then you have a nice color on bottom with it not browning on top too dark Good luck Love mine one igot temp down try putting wood chips in bottom of BBQ it gives it wood burning oven teast

Q: can this be used with a charoal grill?

I use mine with my Charbroil 4 burner gas grill. I don't close the lid. The box should increase heat over that of the grill by at least 20 degrees.

Q: Will it fit on a Webber spirit grill?

I don't follow what you say, it fits with about 1-2 inch to spare on each side. It works good on my spirit and has cooked over 30 pizzas on it.
