Acme 210.5 Dog Whistle & Lanyard with Cobra Stitch Knot 3mm in Baby Blue

I have a 14 week old sprocker puppy and I wanted something that she would be familiar with (sound wise) to come back to if she ever wondered off and I have to say this works a treat! Im not into the silent whistles as I have heard they are painful in the dogs ears so hence why I went for this one. Its frequency is quiet but I can hear it clearly and so can she and she doesn't seem bothered by it at all. Took a few goes in the house and garden to get her used to it and to work out that my dad, mum or myself would be waiting for her at the other end and then we took her for the big test...... off the lead in the park. And I have to say it worked a dream every time we blow the whistle she will stop what she is doing and head straight back. So I love it, why not give it a try for yourself. This whistle also comes in a variety of colours with a matching lanyard so it won't get lost in the grass..... bonus!

I'm really pleased with this whistle and the matching coloured lanyard. I have always used Acme whistles but in black before so I'm happy that I can now coordinate with my wardrobe. The cobra braid not only looks lovely but helps weight the whistle lie flat and not move around as much like my previous whistles and lanyards. I shall certainly be getting some different colours to add to my collection.The whistle being an Acme gives me the peace of mind that it will have the same pitch to my old whistle which I had lost, however, Sod's law as usual, it turned up the day the new one arrived! At least I now have a choice which to wear and it's helpful to have a spare for now just in case.

Arrived on time, easy to use and good length to hang around neck. I like that you can hear the whistle although not too loud as with the whistles that only dogs can hear you don’t know if it’s working or not! If I’m being picky the lanyard isn’t the same colour blue as the whistle but it’s not a fashion accessory so is fine!

Good whistle easy to keep safe as lanyard is provided , so always to hand . No fumbling around in your pocket to find it . Good pitch dogs react quickly to it .

Super whistle that works really well, my dog returns quickly and it looks nice and bright so I wont lose it - hopefully!

Having bought Acme whistles before, I assumed this would be no different to those but whether I have a dud I don't know - this just doesn't create a sharp whistle - more of a hissy type whistle. Young dog still reacts to it so it can stay until I replace it for a better, clearer whistle as this will NOT carry in a crowded location. Older dog who is used to a 210.5 ignores this whistle entirely.
