Small, Fast, Simple
I bought this for my desk at work and making myself tea by the mug on occassion. This item has worked super well! I enjoy the roll-up cord base (though mine stays plugged in all the time), the heating time is very fast, it holds plenty enough for my mug-by-mug use and being a smaller kettle was very much key to my purchase. The stainless interior has not been discoloring or scaling at all, the switch is positive in actuation and cycles well. The handle is barely flexible under a full load of water, and sometimes the chrome inset on the lid can become a bit hot from steam, but I have no issues in use typically.Overall, this is a great little kettle and I would highly suggest it to anyone who is looking for a small, fast kettle!

Nice Little Kettle
I took this little electric kettle with me on a road trip, so that I could boil water for oatmeal and powdered coffee. It worked like a champ. FYI, the inside is metal, but the exterior is some kind of plastic. I really liked that the power cord came be scrolled into the base. Additionally, make extra sure that you dry out the pour spout really well before you put it in your luggage. I really like this kettle and recommend it.

worked well for awhile
I have had this for about 1 year and am a light user. Only 2 to 3 times a week. I love that it is stainless inside and heats fast, but it has started leaking from the seam at the base. Now I am looking for a unit with no seams. This has never been dropped or abused in any way.

It's a great color and it works well.
This water heater fits in well in my cubicle area at work. It's a great size for my area of space. It fills up well that I can get at least 2 cups and it heat up fast. Great purchase!!

Very basic.
It does what it's supposed to do. It is very light in weight. Feels a bit cheap, but it boils water which is all I wanted.

Exactly What I Wanted but . . .
I really liked this little kettle. It held around 16 ounces of water, so I made tea in it by boiling the water and then adding my tea. If the tea had cooled by the time I was ready to drink the second cup, I could switch it on for a minute and the tea would be good and hot.Only problem, the lid is hollow with stainless steel inside the pot and a plastic top matching the color of the kettle screwed to it with two small screws. On my kettle, the metal part didn’t fit securely into the plastic part and left a gap. If the gap was closest to the pouring spout when I poured my tea, tea would get into the hollow lid. Then it would trickle out all over the counter when I next poured tea. A mystery until I unscrewed the parts of the lid and found the tea residue inside. The metal part is just a little too big to seat in the plastic part where there is a groove, so apart from marking where the gap was and making sure that was on the handle side, I couldn’t fix it.One photo shows how the lid pieces should fit together, the other shows where the metal will not seat inside the plastic. It’s already past the return date, so I have ordered a different model with a different lid design. I’m hoping to continue making tea this way, because it’s working well for me.
