Q: I have quite a large head, would this fit ok? Or more suited to a smaller head?

I HAVE a small head but this hat is quite deep into the crown. I actually felt it was too big for me as I also have quite a small face. It was too over powering and I have therefore never worn it.

Q: Do you get the hat pictured? As sometimes it’s a scam.

I purchased mine a while ago, and got the hat as pictured at that time.

Love this hat, packs in a case, Washes and irons and a strap to keep it on for windy days. The bow is only pinned on so I put a couple of stitches in mine.

Q: Is there wire in the edge of the rim?

No, no wire anywhere on this hat. The back of the hat is quite floppy and hangs down, covers the neck nicely, the front is a double thickness and is fairly stiff and can be pushed up like a peak or left down. The hat is reversible so you can have the pattern outside or inside, it also comes with an adjustable chin strap.
