Nice size good the letters are made from good quality material. They are really strong and they can stand up on their own which is what I wanted. Easy to paint and decorate as required. Delivery was fast and the letters came really well packaged. I would definitely order more in the future.

SOLID LETTER - NOT A BOXI had just added a box in 'X' shape to my cart and was looking for a matching J. Not being au fait with these products (buying them for a craft project for my daughter), I did not realise that that this wouldn't be a box but a solid letter, especially since the rest of the title blurb is identical ("8.25-inch", etc), in short it looks like same product, different letter. On more careful (hindsight) inspection, the only differentiation appears to be whether or not 'box' is in the title (solid has same title minus word 'box') and the picture of just a letter or an open letter box.So this is not what my daughter and I wanted, partially my own mistake for not understanding the product better, partially the seller's for not making it clearer to the unfamiliar what we are buying, especially when the descriptions at a glance look the same for both types of item. If I had been buying in a store, the difference would have been obvious, therefore online descriptions needs to be blindingly obvious for similar styled items.More disappointingly 'J' isn't available as a box and I'm at a loss as to what to do with the item we have received, being of the Wm Morris school of thought that every item in the home should have a practical function as well as aesthetic appeal. It doesn't stand on its own and has no drill holes or facilities for mounting, would need to add your own (which is probably more flexible option). Contemplating manually turning these into boxes myself.On the plus side, the quality of the material is sturdy, the price is good. If your particular use is for large, solid, non-functional letters, it will tick that box. So I've graded the stars for quality and price, it loses a star for the poor description that's not so much misleading, but unclear/too similar to different items.

As you’d expect except - crucially - it doesn’t stand up by itself ... we had to weight it down on the smaller upturned section of the J.

I think this (and a few other letters I bought) took about three weeks to arrive so order in plenty of time if a present. They are good quality though and a nice size for a wall or tabletop.

Doesn't stand up so if you want it for a surface rather than to stick to a wall it's no good!

My boy just loved getting this. He is only 5 and loves having his name/initial on everything!
