Analogue studio VTA and azimuth bubble level - analogue studio.
When this article arrived I was surprised how tiny it was but it is the most marvellously made tool - an absolute gem. It is tiny but accurate and is a pleashure to use rather than the larger spirit level I was previously using. It is quick and simple to use and takes up little room - so much so that it is permanently on my deck for quick checking. It arrived well before time securely packaged and as described - this little level is a gem and I urge you to purchase one -recommended.

Works this way on my tonearm.
I placed this level on my tonearm as shown in the description but the bubble was way offset. I then placed it on top of the two cartridge screws and it showed an almost perfect balance. I used it on my brand new Pro-ject Debut Carbon Esprit where the cartridge is pre-installed to the correct specifications. I had also used a digital precision force gauge to ensure the correct tracking force before using this level. So it would appear that this item placed on top of the screws works well. However, any comments would be appreciated.Rob

It's ok, but a bit pricey for what it is. Found that the platter of my turntable wasn't parallel with the plinth, so this didn't really help me setting up the TT/arm.

Only OK as a rough guide
The dome isn't pronounced enough to give an accurate level so can only be used as a very rough guide at best. I can tilt it a fair amount before the bubble moves, like its stuck the the underside of the dome.Another issue is the added weight of it's self alters the pressure on the stylus which in turn alters the angle of the tome arm. So you have to remember to compensate for this when making your adjustments. It was very cheap so I don't feel massively put out, just a lesson learned in why the more expensive setup hardware is worth investing in.

Does exactly what you need.
Did exactly what I needed it to! Can't complain. Seemed accurate enough, my records are playing fine. Plus I feel confident my turntable is level, giving my vinyl the best chance at life. Cool!
