Great Quality and Easy to use
A really top quality tool for setting up high performance cartridges and arms.I set up my new ATVM540ML on a vintage 1970s AR XB1 turntable and its original arm which I have just totally refurbished. As I had it from new when I was a student I wanted to do it up and dig out all my records from the 70s and early 80s.All tracks perfectly at 2g and thanks to this no inner groove distortion at all.Great quality if a little pricy. But then it’s protecting about £3k of vinyl

Great parallax correction for a truly accurate cartridge alignment
Arrived promptly - a perfect protractor with clear markings greatly simplifying the process of head alignment. The mirrored finish allows for parallax correction, which is a godsend. Great addition to ensure perfect playback at the best quality and protect records from uneven alignment and excessive wear.

Nice looking but expensive
Quite difficult to view with the mirror, compared to 'ready to print' protractors on vinyl engine.

Don't bother with these gadgets, get a test disc instead.
I found this too difficult to use, the mirror is very confusing. I would advise not wasting money on little gadgets here and there. Just go the whole hog and buy the Hi-Fi News Analogue Test LP. It comes with an array of protractors and the LP will ensure your cartridge is set up correctly.
