Firstly, the brand is ANRAN not Swinway. My internet type was suitable in specification (ie 2.4G wifi compatibility) ,however it would not connect. Item was not working. I had no delivery time slot even with prime membership so had to wait in all day as it arrived at 6pm (early eve). All would have been forgiven if item worked. Wasted day, waste of time, product belongs in waste. I do not advise buying this item. I don't usually give negative reviews but I may be able to save somebody else wasting their time and money by doing so.IMPORTANTLY: Mine would not connect to wifi and in the short time (20-30mins) it was plugged in during my attempt to get it working - the plug became very hot. Ordered a different one today another brand and similar specs but globe style costing a little more and this is fine. Honest opinion with safety in mind.

I will be honest, it's a good camera. I have 4 of them, in fact. The quality - for the price - is not too bad for small indoor areas (living room, garage, conservatory, office room) and is a considerable upgrade from my 480p CCTV cameras externally (note: these are for indoor use). The iPhone app seems to work quite well, although setup is frustratingly annoying based on pairing through sound signals (absolutely stupid idea if you ask me) and the free CMS software for Windows works just as good.When using an SD card (and setting the recording to schedule: 00:00 - 23:59) files are saved in .AV format, and can be converted to MP4 using the PC software. I did have issues importing the converted files into my editing software, but I doubt many of you reading this will need to go that far.The night vision is good, although the sound of it activating and deactivating is way too loud. I have one in the corner of my office room and it switches all the time depending on how bright my PC monitors are - not ideal. Additionally, the LED light at the top is annoying and I've covered all of mine with PVC tape.A massive issue for me is the included plugs and cables. The plugs are a bunch of UK adaptors, of which I have scrapped all of them and replaced them with power banks or proper USB plugs; and the cables are long but I have issues with one of them. A USB cable that I just tried to use with one of the cameras seemed to return a voltage back to my desk's USB hub. This was not a fault in my USB hub since I tried it in another and it caused all the connected drives to disconnect and then reconnect. I would strongly recommend changing the cables for something more reliable (any USB micro cable should do, I have a personal preference for Anker cables).

I originally put a 5 star review, but I had to return the item. The reason was, that at night when the sensor picks up someone and turns on the camera, there is a LOUD CLICK/CLUNK sound when the red night lights turn on. It makes such a loud click any thief would know they are being recorded and just rip it off the wall or destroy it.My original 5 star review - A nice little camera, good fish eye. Very easy to set up and use, as the software is yoosee. Works on PC as well as Mobile. Only downside is that you can't horizontally angle camera if fixed to a wall, so more difficult if you want the camera.fixed into a corner of a room. The few reviews that have put one star, seem to be reviewing another product, as the Manuel is fine and in English, the APP is in clear English and it doesn't have a battery, as it's powered by a usb cable, or say to be used as a webcam etc.

Very good clear image. Easy to activate, just follow the easy steps "see photo" If in doubt just contact the seller, you will receive a couple of emails prior to the delivery offering you support to an email address and a phone number, that's how confident the seller is. Also the camera come with a USB lead and two adaptors that you must use together, but I recommend you buy a standard UK USB plug, "See photos" but make sure you buy the right one with the right value "see photo". After you have set it you will be able to change the settings to suit your needs.

This camera has it's own WiFi signal which is easy to connect to with the downloadable "VR CAM" software,The live stream from this signal is akin to watching from the other side of the world,Sometimes around 1 minute behind which is no good when you're trying to communicate with someone at your back door,So far not managed to connect via my router,I have noticed it drains the battery very quickly,If you exit the app you have to reinstall the camera to the app ,It's a shame cause the image is very good.

Rubbish! Would not connect to WIFI dispite me changing my band to 2.4. Booklet is in broken English and shows ports that do not exist so I could not connect using a cable! You get what you pay for!

good product easy to use, downside is it flashed when you are looking so gives it away if you are using to check on people

No option for cloud storage and that's the only reason it's not 5 stars. Very easy to set up, very easy to use, nice clear picture with two way sound it's very handy.
