Blame my pre-decimalisation mindset.
The product itself was fine. My disappointment was because although I know saffron is very very expensive I thought this would be bigger. I had no concept of how small 5gms would be. So, imagining a standard spice jar , I received a thimble sized tube. Suddenly Turmeric as a colouring for rice seemed much more appropriate.
