I like that these can be washed after being shaken out to remove all the dust hair Etc and has a much better impact on the environment than the disposables which are made of petroleum product. They do a great job grabbing on to dust hair and anything on the floor, I'll often run mine after running the vacuum cleaner and pick up an unbelievable amount of stuff and I have a fantastic vacuum. They're great as a wet mop as well.

We have four cats, one large dog, a two year old and an eight year old. This absolutely necessitates cleaning the floor everyday to reduce pet fur and kid crumbs from building up on our floor. I ordered this product with the hope I could stop spending $18 a month on disposable swiffers. I have tried the generic version of swiffers and they do not work well at all, so this was my other option.I am so pleased that I ordered these cloth swiffer alternatives. These are incredibly soft, the bright colors are very cheery and I like picking out a fun color to alleviate the tedium of this daily chore. Did I mention I hate cleaning?This product rightly deserves a five-star review. It is easy to place on the swiffer mop by attaching the tabs into the correct place and they definitely stay put during cleaning. A quick zoom around the room and this was picking up more than the swiffer usually does. Not only all of the pet fur, but all of the little crumbs and particles that inevitably end up on the floor. The texture and raised design of this fleece sweeper prevents the scraping that sometimes happens when the odd hard material gets caught up with a swiffer. I think everyone has experienced that small panic that the floor may have been scratched. Our floor felt cleaner in one pass with this product than the two passes and sweeping of the crumbs the swiffer couldn’t pick up.To clean this product I pulled most of the fur and debris off and shook it outside. I don’t know that it needs to be washed after every use, but I threw it in the wash in cold and hung it up to dry. No shrinkage and it came out very clean. I held it against an unused refill to verify no shrinkage. Perfect.I am a very particular person and always try to find the best product I can find to do the job. I couldn’t be happier that this product is part of our cleaning arsenal.

I use these in my classroom for cleaning the floors after we cook. It picks up everything, and I just throw it in thr washing machine when we are done.

Love these. Pick ups more. Washes nicely and more economical. One plus too is you can get edges and corners with them which does not work with my swiffer disposable

Wanted to produce less garbage and these are perfect for that.

This item doesn’t fit but only cause I have xl swifter so I have to use two but this exactly what I need when sweeping picks up all the hair and sticks can use it multiple times before washing and doing it all over again

I did a little test to see if these were actually comparable to the disposable dusters and I feel that they hold their weight in dust comparably, with the added bonus that the finer dust does not seem to shake loose from these like they do with the disposable ones. They also work well dampened slightly or with the use of a dusting spray. I toss these in with the rags once every two weeks and they are ready to re-use again and again. I would not use fabric softener of any kind with them, simply wash and air dry.The only bad thing is, my blue and yellow ones seemed to have disappeared and randomly found their way to my mother's house. Hmmmmm....strange. ;)

Unlike a lot of consumers I have found Swiffer floor only adequate. And they certainly would not pass my mother's standard of clean. My only explanation of this is like Apple products people buy into the hype and ignore the fact that there are better and sometimes cheaper products. I do however own the Swiffer Sweeper Vac. for my bathroom and kitchen floors. This is a fairly weak rechargeable that uses the same disposable pads as the sweeper does. I use the heavy duty kind. What the vacuum doesn't pick the pad is suppose to. and I found what the pad doesn't get it usually will heard up into a pile I can the wipe up. The pads are costly and not great for the environment. So after shopping around I decided to try these reusable pads. I found many of this type of product compatible with Swiffer. I finally choose these because they look a lt like the heavy duty pads I use. After my first sweep I was not disappointed. They work just as good if not better the the disposable ones. I just got them today so I am just reviewing the performance as of now.
