Sheaffer Rolling Ball Refills Slim Black (2 x 1 cartridge on blistercard)

I was given a very special pen a very long time ago. It looked wonderful but never wrote because the refill had dried up and I have never been able to find one I could afford. These appear to be fine although I haven't used them for ordinary writing jobs so far.

Really glad bought this for my dad. He was sorting out all the old pens from the box, he nearly threw it away one of the lovely style pen from the 1980s. I pick it up from the bin, I said "Why?" Dad replied "you will never find the right refill for that pen", then I said to back "let me deal with it and try find it from Amazon", So I did! Received in few days and refill in that pen, then gave it back to him. He was over the moon and delighted! He forgotten about how smooth to write and that pen is now his favourite!

Fits my sheaffer pen. The refill is quite a stiff fit but seems OK apart from a slight leak, hence dropped a star.

I have gone through a lot of these in quite a short time. I do not think that they last very long really- and are quite pricey for a little amount of ink. The ink comes out quite thickly for a short while and then comes out more faintly and thinly. Sometimes it doesn't come out at all and I have to re-write letters and words - which is quite frustrating. I am sure the first one I had lasted a long time. They should improve these refills.

I prefer black to blue and was struggling to gt them locally. this is ideal

Nice and smooth ball pen refills, but the shape doesnt quite fit my favourite gold Sheaffer..
