This is on a completely different level to anything else I tried. I bought 2 cheaper ones before and was ready to fork out whatever amount to buy a decent table punch/rivet setter. I was almost sure it's not going to be any better than the ones I have already and if so I will return it and get a table tool. Needless to say how wrong was I - this tool was built by someone who understands leather. Don't be fooled by the size, this tool has some well thought mechanism that delivers clean perfectly round holes every single time. It feels and works like a professional tool. It's like a Global knife of the punches.

A well-made compact and three-way leatherwork tool that should last for years. It even includes a 6mm hole punch die, which is larger than most (cheaper), Star punches. The kit also allows grommet and snap/press stud installation, with a neat little wrench to change bits and a selection of fasteners & grommets to get you started. Great value.

Excellent purpose made tool, well designed and manufactured.You do need to squeeze quite hard when using thicker leather/material, but cuts nice clean holes up to 6mm.I am very pleased with this tool.I would recommend you buy this one.

Strong robust product unlike those in DIY shops that are a waste of money, but the instructions are difficult to follow step by step if you are not familiar with the items to use; photo examples are a little obscure and are of no help: need improving. Lastly, there is No mention of where to get replacement parts for the Punch.

Excellent. A purpose made tool, well designed and manufactured. So much better than the slightly cheaper "multi-purpose" tools out there. If just punching one hole, go cheap. If you need a tool to do it right, all the time, buy this one.

Harder to use than I expected. Bit fiddly to use.

This is the best punch l've used. I've tried many others and they all fail and loose there 'punch-ability' through very low grade steel. I've used it on 1mm leather and 3.5mm tan veg leather and it operates with no problems and would recommend it for any leather work.....

Worked ok but you need a lot of strength to form holes in thicker material
