I've got this cable to use if needed to help charge an electric car when it's not possible to get it close to the socket.Pros1. 15 M length is great, should be more than I'd ever need.2. H Frame helps to ensure safety, The idea is to take the cable off the frame before use, this will help to prevent it from over heating by having a coil of cable. (ask me how I know about that)3. Orange colour helps make the cable visible4. Weather proofing should ensure that I can run power overnight, without having to worry about it getting rained on.Cons1. No RCD Protection in the cable.2. Hard to close the clam shell around a thick cable.Having an RCD connection in the cable would mean not having to rely on it being installed already at the power source. I'm going to void the warranty of my cable by adding an inline RCD so that I can get this protection without having to do any extra work. Though, at my house, I already have an RCD built into the outside socket. The idea is that if I use this at another location, I won't need to think about whether there is an RCD or not.SummaryFor the purpose, it's a good cable, wraps up neatly into a small package, should work well for many years. Just make sure as it's for outdoor usage that there is proper PCD protection in place.

The long extention lead is excellent and easy to wind up its made of strong plastic with covers for plugs,totally waterproof. No issues a good quality. We would highly recommend this product.

I have 4 outside CCTV cameras that and mains powered. I needed a waterproof box built for housing the plugs safely. I looked all over for one but all the DIY shops wanted silly money for them. I saw this one on Amazon and it was just what i was looking for, i read the reviews and thought yes this is the one for me. It arrived the next day well packaged and it even came with a 4 plug socket with a very long power lead inside. You can even put a small padlock on it to keep little fingers safe. I would highly recommend this if your require a waterproof box, it's a very good product at (in my opinion) a very good price.
