Prolonged candle life
My candles never burn down to the bottom. I put the wick into the melted candle and that extends the life of the candle. These wicks are effective and cheap.

Wick burns outs very quickly
I made some candles with this but the wick burns very quickly and therefore very difficult to light next time as it doesn’t leave anything above the surface to light
