£25.00!! WHATS MORE TO SAY EVEN IF THERE IS ONE ANNOYING GLITCH THAT I STRONGLY BELIEVE CAN BE SORTED OUT. THE DREADED BUMPS!!I WAS LOOKING AT SLIDERS FOR A WHILE BUT ONLY WANTED (A) COMPACT, (B) ONE PIECE ALLUMINUM SLIDE RAIL. (C) BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK. THE DOLLY WHEELS WERE A BONUS AS I HAD NOT EXPECTED TO GET THOSE INCLUDED FOR THE PRICE.THE SLIDER CAME WITH A WELL MADE MAIN ZIPPER BAG , SHOULDER STRAP AND 3 OTHER BAGS FOR THE WHEELS AND THE CAMERA MOUNT. ( AGAIN A SUPRISE AT THE QUALITY OF THESE BAGS).AS FOR THE BUMPS, IAM WONDERING IF THE ROLLERS HAVE A FLAT SPOT BUT IT SEEMS STRANGE THAT ( AS ANOTHER REVIEW SAYS) THEY BUMP IN CERTAIN PLACES. IE...EXACTLY WHERE TO HOLES ARE DRILLED ON THE SLIDER AND EXACTLY IN BETEWEEN THOSE HOLES ALSO, VERY STRANGE.JUST WONDERED IF DRILLING THE HOLES CAUSES DISTORTING THAT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE,I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH MOVO REGARDING THIS AND MADE SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE PRODUCTION.OTHER THOUGHTS ON THIS ARE ..TEMERATURE, I FOUND THAT THE SLIDER WAS LESS BUMPY WHEN IT WAS WARMER. I DID POLISH THE SLIDER WITH AUTO GLYM POLISH AND ALSO SPRAYED THE ROLLERS WITH AUTO GLYM VINYL AND RUBBER CARE AND FOUND THAT THING DID WORK BETTER.( NOT WORRIED ABOUT WARRANTY BECAUSE AT THIS PRICE I DO INTEND TO KEEP IT.SO, OVERALL I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE. ONCE SOME WIGHT IS ON THE CAMERA THINGS ALSO GET SMOOTHER. IF YOU CAN LIVE WITH THE BUMPS IT IS A GREAT BARGAIN. ( I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY FROM MOVO PHOTO. ONE OTHER THOUGHT IS THAT THIS COULD ALWAYS BE MOUNTED TO THE SIDE OF A DESK /TABLE ON ITS SIDE AND USED AS A FIXED SLIDER FOR TABLE TOP TYPE FILMING ETC. YOU TUBE SHOWS LOADS OF D.I.Y SLIDER SUGGESTION BUT BY THE TIME YOU SPEND MONEY ON THE PARTS.. ( AND YOU WILL), THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST VALUE EVEN IF IT IS ONLY THE FIRST OR STAT GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CHOICE! ON THE UNIT THAT YOU BUY. UPDATE....UPDATE!!!I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH BY EMAIL WITH MOVO AT THIER LOS ANGELES HQ . THEY HAVE LISTENED TO MY COMMENTS REGADING THE SLIDER RUNNING MUCH SMOOTHER IN A WARMER ENVIRONMENT AND WILL BE CONTACTING THEIR PRODUCTION AND DESIGN TEAM RE A FURTHER UPGRADE TO THE ROLLERS. AS FOR VALUE FOR MONEY THIS IS STILL AN AMAZING DEAL. IF YOU GO ONTO YOU TUBE YOU WILL FIND OTHER PRODUCT NAMES THAT ARE VERY VERY SIMILAR TO THE MOVO UNIT,( POSSIBLY EVEN MADE IN THE SAME FACTORY ) EVEN FAR PRICIER UNITS WITH WHAT WOULD SEEM A BETTER SYSTEM OF SILICONE SLIDERS STILL HAVE AN ISSUE LIKE THE SLIDER PLATFORM NOT SITTING TIGHT ENOUGH ON THE SLIDER ITSELF. ICHECK OUR KAMERAR SLIDER and you will see what i mean regarding this and the price. so i will still give the slider 4 stars, i think this is very fair for the price. Other units are far more expensive. Have fun if you decide to purchase one. PS, i have not received and compensation from Movo for writing this follow up.

I love my photography gadgets, and when I noticed this combination slider / dolly I thought it was a must have for some of the shoots I do.I already have a smaller dolly unit which is around 25cm long and I have a larger slider unit which is circa 1m long.This looked like a great option from a multi-function perspective and also as it's smaller than my existing slider and therefore a little more portable and easy to pack/carry.The slider comes well packaged in a padded case which has three other cases within it which store one set of wheels in each case and the slider head in its own case with two thumb screws to stop the slider head sliding off the end of the unit and another two to attach the wheels to the slider track.The first unit I received had a little manufacturing defect which meant one of the thumb-screws on the end of the track wouldn't screw-in.The manufacturer was very quick and happy to take the unit back and a refund and new unit was organised via Amazon.The new unit was fine and the testing went well.I used a Nikon 5300 on a ball head fitted to the slider head. This worked fine.Strangely, the slider head appears not to move particularly smoothly across the slider rail. You can feel little bumps as you move the slider head.What's stranger about this is that it doesn't appear to affect the video footage. I expected to see very clear shake in the recorded video, however, no matter how closely I examined the video, I couldn't see any bumps.So, I then recorded some footage using the dolly part of the slider and found that it moved much smoother than my existing small dolly unit.All-in-all it seems a good unit, which gives the benefit of a standard slider and a dolly in one fairly compact unit which is well packaged.I received a discount to review this item on Amazon, however, I hope you find the review to be fair and reasonable given the tests completed.
