Maybe I missed something?
Maybe I didn't read the product description correctly (i.e. there isn't one) but was expecting a single large sheet of netting - instead received two sheets clearly meant for putting over a sliding door and having them magnetically connect in the middle. So my first task was removing all the magnets, and then had to cut apart the rest (as I expected anyway), only to find the sheet wasn't wide enough for a standard window and ended up making a netting mosaic to cover the area.Despite the faff, the mesh seems to be fine enough to keep most out, but I would warn others and maybe advise updating the product listing to make this clear. On the plus side I have a random pile of magnets now as well, and I suppose for the price, still worth buying.

Not bad with mods
I really can't stand bugs and was fed up with roasting at night having to keep my windows closed during summer. After reading the reviews of this product, both positive and negative, I thought I would chance it as the price, £3.63 when I bought it, was something I could afford to lose. The mesh itself is about 1-1.5mm, still big enough to let in fruit flies, so I doubled it up as I only have one small window to cover. The velcro is useless, but I was prepared for this. I simply used insulating tape to hold it in place on the top and sides, and used the velcro to hold the bottom in place. That way I had an opening to open and close the window.Another good thing is that from 2metres away, you can't really see the mesh. At first I thought it had fallen off!So far, I've kept my windows open most of the time, and all night, and only a few little fruit-fly sized insects have got in. No moths or craneflies yet. So overall I am happy with the product. (In fairness though, I could have made it myself with some fine mesh fabric and insulating tape.)Only downside is it has gone down by over £1 since I bought it.

Very easy to set up. Keeps the bugs out!
This isn't quite the black professional material seen in the image. What you actually get is a 3 or 4 meter strip of white 1/3cm wide velcro like tape that you put around the edge of the window, and a sheet of white netting that's very fine and practically invisible when put up. I put the tape around the window frame, attached a top corner (and it's 2 edges) of the netting with the square frame of velcro tape and used a scalpel to cut the sheet at the other 2 edges so it gave a perfect tight fit. You're given more than enough netting to do a few good and large windows. So it's a little more DIY than the perfect fitting, seamed material in the picture. This would get 5 stars IF the velcro strip had a stronger glue, as it is it comes away fairly easily and required a little extra help to stay up. I hot-glued the problem areas of the tape down and the netting has been up a good 8 months now. It's great seeing bugs on the OUTSIDE rather than buzzing around my light or screens. If I needed more windows or doors doing I'd definitely buy the exact same product again.

just rubbish - DO NOT PURCHASE
Do Not Buy!I read the reviews some stating it was good and did the job and some saying the velcro tape keeps falling down...i brought it anyway. Absolute rubbish. Dont waste ur money the material is so cheap and flimsy and the velcro tape DOES NOT STICK DOWN and i dont have upvc windows (plastic) just wooden framed windows and it just peels back up! Used pins also to try and keep in place! Nothing works. It deserves a 0 star but i cant give that!! Better off finding a better quality fly screen and having a good old search and also purchasing heavy duty separate Velcro's!! I brought 3 packs of this please read my comment and i hope you dont by this! Uk based customer!! ***UPDATE*** So I gave the review before 2015 but since then I have made the nets work for me by buying heavy duty velcro for the windows and once I use the nets with it, it stays on no problem all I have to do is keep opening the area to get to the window handle to open the window and then stick the net back down to the velcro. Ive been replacing it once a year with fresh nets as they start to rip over time with opening and closing of the window. Now in terms of delivery I have not made any review of it until now! I ordered the nets 28th April 2017 and it was due 2nd June 2017... no delivery nothing so I checked my Amazon Orders this morning (3rd June 2017) for it to now tell me it will be expected 7th June. I am really annoyed and quite p'd off as I have waited since the end of April! I have just contacted the seller so will await response however if I am not satisified I will cancel this and get a refund. ***UPDATE*** It never arrived and got a full refund on the nets I purchased, Amazon informed me not to buy any more from this seller. Such a shame for me as the price was ideal so will look elser where.

Disappointed to be honest
The adhesive strip sticks well to the window frame but the draft blows the netting off. I had high hopes. Now to get the adhesive strips off my windows.

Better than expected
Overall this is a relatively good buy.I thought that because of the low price it would be of low quality, but it does the job well. However as other people have stated the sticky Velcro isn't very sticky. Hence when you are trying to remove the blind, you are more likely to just pull the Velcro of the surface and spend a while trying to separate the Velcro form the blind. This can be solved by either using super glue (if you are not thinking about removing the Velcro at a later date), or by buying a higher quality Velcro tape.Alternatively you could buy a spring roller blind kit and attach the material to it, like a pull down blind. If you intend on cutting this down to size, which I suspect most people will, I would recommend a using a method to stop the edges fraying in the long run.In retrospect this is an easy way to keep out the insects.
