This cover is really excellent value for money, is strong and sturdy and protects my Kindle if I accidently drop it. Make sure it fits your Kindle as mine is the 3rd Edition Kindle Fire 7 inch HDX model and the newer models are a lot slimmer with the holes for the buttons in a different place on the Kindle.I have had my Kindle Fire a long time now so needed to replace the cover. This cover is a lovely colour, very strong and excellent fit. Highly recommend this cover.

This is the third case I've had for my Kindle HDX 3rd generation in almost seven years. Appears a little on the plastic side to touch but all the slots are in the right places and fits well, seems sturdy, if a tad on the thick side; however the pullout to view in landscape mode is quite stiff and you have to take care not to rip the whole thing apart.As my device is still working after all this time, I lashed out on this, though it's pricey (apparently I got this half price as it was almost £40 originally), but there appears little choice and I've bought other Finitie covers before and have done the job.

I have had none of the problems some reviewers have stated. I, too, read by folding the cover back. This causes no problems whatsoever. Nor any of the ones about not bring able to access the controls. I bought it because my original leather cover was getting old (I've had it 5 years and I am a heavy reader and take it with me everywhere!) If I have anything complaint - it's not really a complaint - is that it's a bit thicker than my old one but can still fit in in my hand or handbag. It's perfect and I think it's great.

So pleased to finally get the proper case as I previously ordered one which was not the right one for my model it's perfect and very sturdy and all the cut outs are in the right place the seller showed a good picture of the case and what model it suited unlike other some other sellers as it's so easy to order the wrong one,very prompt delivery and I'm very pleased with this case,also it's a nice purple colour and very sturdy would highly recommend this case .

Other than this product I have found it very difficult to find a replacement for my old worn cover. Whilst it was quite expensive it is very sturdy and more importantly all the cut out holes are in the right place for my kindlefire7 2013 version which was not the case with the old cover where i had to cut a hole for the camera. Hopefully this will last a long time.

I really need a new case for my very old Kindle Fire so ordered this one as it's identical, apart from colour, to the one I have - or so I thought! It arrived 2 days before it was scheduled to arrive so very pleased about that. Unwrapped it and it looked lovely. Unfortunately, it is too small for my Kindle. I have had to return it, but that too was very, very easy. Dropped it off at my local shop that has a Post Office in it and the refund has already been put back on my card. Now I know that there are different sizes of Kindles and cases and that I have to be more careful, I will buy an 8" one. But something to be aware of.

The case is sturdy and thick enough to protect. It is a bit thicker than the one I had previously which makes it a bit more difficult to get to the on/off button. However you can get use to this. Nice grain to the vegan leather so looks expensive and looks more like real leather. The purple colour is very nice, not too bright. Easy to get the case on. Pleased with the performance so far.

At first all was well, good fit and ok to look at. However, soon my kindle started to misbehave, changing web pages, closing apps, skipping book pages. Then it would go blank and would not restart. Finger on the on button for several minutes to no avail, except a dent in my finger. So do a factory reset, do a hard reset, no help at all. So take it out of the cover and all would be well. Wrong!! Same faults so the device is unusable, ruined. Amazon customer service could only suggest I return the cover and buy a new device with a very small discount. Trouble is my device is discontinued. Must be company policy! PS the 1 star should no stars!!
