air vent pincer not good on two cars!
Sturdy, good phone holder, but the car vent pincer is too fat & wide to fit on my Saab vent. I have found I can sit the complete contraption on top of the dashboard cupholder, and although it is not great, it works (see photos)! On my Honda, the pincer's "mouth" is not open enough, so it has to be forced on. Then, the clamp that is supposed to hold the pincer tight can't be used, as it would require practically a paper thin air vent to clamp on to! Can't imagine which car vents this was tried on by the manufacturer, but on my two cars, it doesn't work. I will make it work, but that is not really good enough. Sorry for the bad review, but others should be warned. Will be trying it on a rental car soon, and may report about that, also!
