Not Great..
The coffee was well packaged, 3x 227g packs which is easier to live with as you as you only open what you need keeping the rest sealed and fresh. The price was very reasonable, which was great but also made me wonder about the quality given some Taylors beans cost 3 times as much.. The coffee, well didn't set my taste-buds alight and I wondered how I would go through the 3 packs but wahey, I did :-). I found it easily bitter, acidic with very little body and flavour - even straight from the grind which I do just before brewing. I alternate between a cafeterie and an aeropress - have tried coarse, fine, very fine, varying brew times but none has wowed me. All I can say is that I get more flavour from these beans finely ground but the taste falls below many other brands I have bought on Amazon. I won't be ordering this particular type again.

Great tasting espresso beans that are really good value for money
No matter how good your coffee machine is, to make great coffee, you need great beans. These beans are really good value for money. We drink a lot of coffee in our house, using our Jura Z6 coffee machine.I did the maths to see how much my favourite coffee beans cost per kg. Beans direct from Jura were £16.50/kg; Illy beans were £18/kg and my Union hand roasted Coffee beans were £25/kg.At £11.01/kg, these are something of a bargain. They make a great tasting espresso and also take milk well for a flat white or cappuccino. Not too surprising given the expertise that Taylor's bring to their coffee, as anyone who has visited Betty's Tea Rooms in Harrogate will know.It is good to mix and match different blends of coffee beans. At this price, they deserve a place in anyone's coffee cupboard.

Great beans for espresso!
Rich Italian beans by Taylors can make a great coffee. It is a medium roast with rich flavour and aroma. Quality is consistent but sometimes packages received are close to manufacturing date, sometimes not. At least packaging combines protective atmosphere and CO2 valve, so shelf life is better than some low volume artisanal producers who put coffee in non-vacuum or (worst) paper bags. As with all coffees, the fresher the beans, the better coffee they make.At approx £3.50/227gr, these are some of the best mass market beans for espresso you can get your hands on, and great to be able to buy them online as most supermarkets stock the ground version.

Ordered this with a coffee grinder for my brother, we both like the ground coffee you can buy of this so I thought it would be the best choice of beans for his first use of it.He loves them and says that it is better than buying the grounds as it tastes fresher.They came quickly and were well packed so I did not open the box to find burst bags and loose beans.

okish but this is my first venture into coffee beans. i bought a grinder for spices and decided to start grinding coffee. I am still trying to work out how many scoops to use for my own personal taste. I may order some stronger beans and mix the two. I wouldn't get this coffee again.

This was on a special offer when I bought it and then with the subscribe and save discount and saving on postage it was really good value at the time (this may have changed as these subscribe sand save offers often change their prices).I really like this coffee and would prefer to get beans rather than ready ground.A nice rounded coffee which we use in a cafetiere. I have not tried it for espresso but I'm sure it would be nice.

Very good mix of arabic beans
Very good mix of arabic beans, with a perfect roast. The aroma and flavor in the cup are distinctive. Therefore, good relation quality / price.

Great tasting coffee
Great tasting coffee, gives a solid, rich, dark taste when made with an Aeropress. I drink my coffee black with no sugar and this goes down very easily. Can't say it's the best beans I've had, but for the price on a subscribe and save, it's the best in the price range. Will take this over Starbucks any day!

To experience this coffee at its best, only grind enough for immediate use and select the correct grind setting for your equipment: Medium for cafetieres, Fine for Filter and Extra Fine for Espresso. After grinding use one desert spoon of coffee per cup in a cafetiere or filter.
