This book is a staple! It is not by any means the only study aid you should be using, but if you are having a difficult time understanding the material or simply want to have a decent understanding before you cover the topic in class, buy this. It is definitely short and happy— but somehow hits every single point. Once you read this and get the general understanding, you can move on to the glannon guide and other in depth study aids!I’d like to add for being so short it is decently detailed. It lays a solid foundation for civ pro, especially for jurisdiction as it covers all precedent cases which are heavily discussed in lecture.

Great explanation by professor Freer! This book was an easy way to refresh on concepts before my final for civil procedure next week.
