This is an inexpensive but high quality product. It is great that we all have energy saving light bulbs in our living rooms but sometimes these do not provide the necessary clarity for the hobbyist or craftsman. That's where this lamp comes in and saves the day.There are a lot of good things to say about this, but in particular I would highlight:- the clip has very wide jaws meaning you can anchor it just about anywhere- it is not a "spot" source of light, so you get a more even coverage - this can be important if like me you are painting models and miniatures.- there are two colour temperatures and two brightness settings - you can therefore assess what you are doing in both daylight and indoor/incandescent light, at different levels of brightness. Again, this is really useful if you are painting or doing any task using colour where the difference between daylight and indoors needs to be checked.- the angling neck is rock solid and easily (re)positionedI generally only write reviews for products which I think are outstanding. I think this one qualifies as such.

I have given this item four stars as I wouldn't go so far as to say I "love it". What's to love about a lamp, or any other object for that matter?!However, I will say that I am very impressed with the design and quality of this light. the clamp is very strong and fits well on my shelf to the side of my desk, giving me a number of options as to what light level I require.I have had it for barely a week so only time will tell as to whether I will need to draw upon the 12 months warranty it holds!!All in all, a great light and pleased I chose it from the many different types now available at Amazon.Would recommend.

Very nice item at a reasonable price! Clips onto the shelf and bends into any position, very bright!Edit : After the dimmed setting became faulty and I changed my review the seller contacted me. They sent me a free replacement with next day delivery, I'm very happy with the new lamp and I cannot fault the seller's customer service, fantastic!

Very impressed with this light.Really love the different settings. You get a crisp white light and then a warm yellowish one. You can then have these set to bright or dim.The fixing clamp is solid and the flexible arm seems to be extremely durable. I have got it in a perfect position so won't need to move it but bendy arm seems like it would go into any position you required.I am very happy with my choice.

Got two for my children’s rooms. One for reading area, the other for bed. Have it on mains. They use it constantly and it is great. Great to have the ‘white’ light and the ‘softer’ choice. The strong light is bright and useful for reading and when needing lots light. The low light is discreet, softer and perfect for before bedtime. Good grip, easy to use. Main body not too flexible, but after it is manipulated, it stays put. Very happy.

This lamp so far is very good, its of excellent quality lovely bright lights ( you have two white lights, and two warm lights ) you have four light opinions, the lead is 59 inches long the clip is very sturdy. This is the best clip on light that I have ever come across and the price is outstanding, I have a laptop tray and this is perfect for it, I would purchase this again definitely if I needed other.

This lamp solved all the problems which had caused me buy a new desk lamp. Clips securely to desk and can position wherever you want to. This has resulted in more space on my desk. Good light and can be brightened and dimmed. I am very pleased with it and the price was more than reasonable. My husband, who fixed it up said it was quite sturdy.

Nice light good sturdy clip.Only thing I would have liked is that the tube could be twisted to adjust the direction of the light.The arm is twistable but very stiff. May get better with more use.Overall a good product.
