The birds really like them!
Bought these to replace some the birds never ate, and these new ones are disappearing quickly - sparrows, starlings, and the occasional bluetit are getting through them at a rate that'll mean I'll need to buy some more very soon!Only the robins don't seem to like them - not sure why?Minor downsides: they are very soft and fall apart quite easily in this warm weather - and your hands get rather greasy when loading them into the feeders.Edited December 2020: local (West London) birds still seem to love them as I saw quite a few flying away from the feeders this morning - had to buy another tub a few days ago.OTOH, I now cut the nets off the balls because, as others have said, those are frankly "environmentally unnecessary".

No crumbling, birds fight over them!
I've just finished my tub of these and am about to buy more. At first I hung them up in the nets from my window (I'm on the second floor opposite a park) and the birds loved them so much that I bought them their own suet ball feeders from Amazon too. The feeders I bought were the green three ball feeders. Throughout the winter, spring and summer they've been the favourite food of the birds. I also provide sunflower seeds, mealworm and mixed small seeds but if I had to choose what to keep of them all, it'd be these suet balls. Its mainly the bluetits and greattits that fight over them but recently I've made a new friend, a nuthatch! O didn't even know what a nuthatch was until it came to my window, what a treat! The only birds that are not interested are the robins, but they're happy with the smaller seeds I also leave out. I'm happily buying my second box of these now. I'm buying the ones in nets again, even though I remove them, because I think it holds them together. Every single ball was a perfect ball and there are no crumbs in the bottom as I come to the end of the box. A success all round!

Birds most appreciative
I see a lot of birds feeding from the feeders when I put these in.When I carry the bucket out to the feeders the noise level seems to pick up as they are anticipating. They do get through them at quite a rate though. Please hang the feeder where they can land on high thin branches though, (or hang them from a tall pole maybe?) my much loved cats bought me the worst gift yet the day after I put these up (moved them higher since and near to thinner branches, no problem since).

Birds adore these.
These have been a staple of my garden birds throughout winter, and they are very popular. My birds love them. We have had clever magpies and hooded crows work out how to dislodge the balls from the branches they are placed on, and fly away with them, such is their popularity! I have used one large container (50) all winter and into spring. Great value for money.

The birds love it!
The media could not be loaded. After weeks of persevering. Hanging out the feeder outside my window with these suet balls, the birds have finally found it! They love them. I get the blue or great tit feeding on them. If you watch video to the end you will see one hop over the seed tray to get to the suet balls. I also have one in the garden, the robins like them too. Very satisfying! (I’ve added the same review to my hanging bird feeder purchase - credit to both feeder and feed!)

Instant posative reaction.
This product was delivered about 2pm today my feeders had very little of the old fat ball's in them so between sorting our Sunday lunch veg i denetted all the fat balls 10/ 15 minutes work. The fat balls when put out they were attacked by a scrum of Starlings inside 30 mins the feeders had to be refilled second time round the Starlings had had there fill so other birds species had a chance from then till last light we have had 4 species of Tit's on the feeders along with a Nuthatch which is a infrequent visitor to our garden and he was eating these up at a rate of knots. The unnetting was a hassle but the reactions of the bird's was well worth it. I have bought my bird food of Amazon for year's and have never seen a reaction to a new product like this.I would recommend this product and will definitely be buying again.

Birds do not leave them alone
We loved the fat balls, so did the birds. This was the one big failing. We could not keep using them as we were filling the feeders twice a day. 15 Fat balls per day; we are not that rich. When we put the feeders out it was just like an Alfred Hitchcock film. Absolutely first class product and the birds loved it.

Hmmm Can't say I'm happy with this product I have waited 6 months to write this review
I purchased these Fat Balls during lockdown as I could not buy from my local Range storeI usually buy the same size tub for just £5 at the Range I was shocked at the price of these but decided to purchase thinking they must be of good quality Well my garden birds don't like them at all They just went a black and mouldy.I thought well we are running into summer and birds don't eat fat balls , so I have waited till end of October and tried them again and the birds are back ........UNFORTUNATLY they are NOT eating these EXPENSIVE fat balls but they are eating my new supply of The Range fat balls I purchased last weekLooks like I'm going to dump these EXPENSIVE fat balls Really disappointed
