I'm a female and size 6-7. I buy size 6 in mens workboots and most brands fit well including these!. I cover a lot of ground, 4 days a week in these on a farm and they have been brilliant! I have had them many months now and they have so far remained waterproof in weather conditions and on grass etc. I have treated with dubbing and waterproof spray once when a few weeks old just for added protection and to prevent the inevitable cracking where the foot bends. Will re do this soon. Sole still fully in tact, footbed v comfortable, nice and wide for full toe spread. Hope these are available when I need to rebuy! Hope this helps!

I bought these because I have become aware that dropping something on one's toes is a bad idea. They are steel capped to prevent this.I rate my shoes/boots highly on comfort since I have fallen arches and some footwear is just too painful to go about in.I have given it a 4-star, rather than 5, partly because (well, with steel, I suppose you can't expect it), they are not lightweight. But equally, for the ghastly colours it comes in. Perhaps there is a good safety reason for this but I am not a fan of neon orange. But of course, I didn't buy them for that. In the critical area of foot and toe safety, they are topnotch.

Absolutely fantastic boots from Black Hammer once again. I got a size bigger than normal because I read the reviews on the last pair I bought.These feel extremely well made there is no metal near the laces instead its plastic lace holes which should last make the laces last much longer.These boots are tough but not too tough to make them feel uncomfortable. I love them and stand by Black Hammer for their work boots.

Good quality working boots. Lightweight as I was looking for. Not true to size. I should have bought a size up. But good product anyway.

These are fairly cheap and quite light too, the fit is on the small side. Comfortable once you have managed to get them on!Unfortunately, the toecap is not very high so there is not much vertical space for the toes - to the extent that my big toe is quite often touching it, not ideal if they are to be used for work where the end of the boot endures a lot of contact (as your toe feels it!).Careful of the veins on the top of your feet with these, putting them on requires both dexterity and brute force. Would be very hard to get on in a car or van.Maybe for the next design they will put some more thought into what their product is actually like to use.

Very comfortable and great value for money.

As soon as I opened the box and took the boots out the first thing that came to mind was that they looked really small for a size 11. I tried them on and my toes were squashed. I compared the overall size with another size 11 boot I had and they were noticeably smaller. I would expect that from a boot made in China as their sizing is different but these were made in Britain so can't understand how the sizing could be so way off. Sent back and got a refund. Seller was great in all of this, had no problem at all with them.

good product very tough yet light

Quality is good and comfortable, it is S3 and not very heavy in weight.

ein toller und leichter Schuh, nach Tragen von mehreren Stunden sehr bequem und leicht (beide ca. 600 gr.).Ich suchte einen hohen Sportschuh für den Sommer zum Motorradfahren. Diese gibt so gut wie nicht mehr zu kaufen. Daraufhin suchte ich einen leichten Wanderschuh. Leider nur wenige zu bekommen (leichte) und wenn, sehr teuer. Ein Schuhverkäufer hat mir geraten, doch mal bei den Arbeitsschuhen zu suchen.Und siehe da, ein leichter und doch stabiler Schuh, in dem man nicht schwitzt. Bin bereits 2 x damit gefahren, einwandfrei.Kann ich für jeden Motorradfahrer empfehlen, der keine "Rennsemmel" fährt, ich selbst fahre einen Cruiser.
