Major Disappointment
Not what I expected. I don't define intermittent as everyday for 20 hours for 30 days. Get real. Of course anyone will lose weight if they have the discipline to fast and eat the restricted diet defined in this book. Writing style put both my wife an I off. I'm sorry I paid full price for this book. You'll be able to read entire book in 10-15 minutes. 60 pages - huge print. B&W pictures. Save your money. Google coffee enemas and alkaline diets. Major disappointment.

Helpful information
I believe this book has helpful information if utilized with a knowledgeable practitioner for guidance and direction. Although nicely detailed, I found the enema instructions a little extreme for a novice detoxer. Overall it was a useful quick read.

Well is a fact, that fasting is good for you, but also colon cleansing is also very good, the funny part is that you have to doit when you are not at work, because it really works and real fast, but when you get used to it does feel good, and flattens your belly and just feels clean. But be careful do not do the (Coffee Enema At Night) you wont be able to sleep that night.

Generally Good, a few things "just ok" . .
I think this 30 day treatment is best directed at someone with large amounts of weight to lose and who has never fasted or done enemas before. The results for them would be more dramatic. Yet, this is a good sound practice - the one of fasting and colonics or enemas and is not harmful.The fasting was the most difficult for me. 20 hours every day for 30 days is extreme unless there is a major illness and I would not recommend it without some supervision from a naturalist or a colonics professional. I tried it for a week, and I was obsessed with food, thinking only of that 6 pm meal.The colonics/enema instructions were good. I found I didn't need to do it more than several weeks before I felt results but I didn't lose more than a few pounds. This is probably because I had already gone through a cleanse several months before and had lost 20 lbs by staying away from certain foods. I passed the book on to a friend who'd never done these therapies before and who is obese. She wanted to know about the importance of the "organic" coffee, and I explained that the goal is to remove any debri or residues from the processed coffees. I think she was concerned about the cost so I said she could do organic coffee whenever it fit in her budget, and water when it suited her best. The very most important thing about enemas is that the equipment is clean and sanitized.So, this is a good book for novices. I caution against the claim that you can "lose 30 pounds in 30 days" -- I just haven't experienced that for myself (although I don't have 30 pounds to lose), but perhaps as I mentioned before that an obese person with the need to cleanse their colon would easily lose this much weight.The health factor is the most important result from this therapy though. Allergens, sugars and candida, viruses can be controlled through the use of a balanced diet and regular, safe enema treatments. Fasting overnight for at least 12 hours is great and if you can do more, go for it, but as a therapy, watch your body's reactions and adjust the hours so your blood sugar doesn't get too low.

Excited to do this!
I liked the fact that this gives you a very realistic walkthrough of what to expect and how to go about weight loss via cleansing. Ive always been a firm believer in fastings and enemas so i read this book to get myself on a program to follow. Looking forward to starting and seeing the results!

Save yourself
Very helpful, I only suggest that you boil the coffee for 3 minutes, simmer for 15 minutes then strain & let cool. By boiling potassium is released from the coffee which helps with possible cramping. This book was very helpful & motivational.

Not something I would do after reading just the first 2 chapters. More of a brochure than a book.

This "book"was more like an article in a magazine. I would not waste my money as you can find this info for free on the internet without much effort.
