Watersafe Drinking Water Test Kit

usually when i buy something cheap and mildly technical like this, it does a ton of useless stuff that gets in the way, the instructions are garbage or it does what I want but only just. I found this easy to use, the instructions were clear and honestly ... kinda fun?

Arrived the next day after ordering. Very simple and easy to use having a magnifier available to read results does help but not essential. I had no problem understanding how to use it the instructions are clear enough.

Comes with a set of instructions that you should read carefully. All the tests are easy to use and the results are accurate to the best of my knowledgeA bit on the pricier side, but can be worth it for the peace of mind

The product name listed on Amazon is inaccurate, as it doesn't t match the one on the product. It should say City water, which is the one I bought, also on the packaging it doesn't say just City Water test kit , but both names are on the label, and only when opened I realised which kit version I had when no Iron or Copper was included in the kit.

Needed to test the town's water supply to a cottage that was built well over a hundred years ago,As it had lead piping? Tested negative but needed a test kit that would put my mind at rest,This kit ticked all the boxes, also? It tested for bacterial! And pesticides! as well.Well worth the price.

Used to test tap water at home. Had been suffering from upset stomach early hours of the mornings. The only common denominator seemed to be it happened after drinking a glass of tap last thing at night...The test showed the water to be well past the recommended rating fro water hardness that is considered to be ok to consume...Immediately went over to using bottled water. Stomach upsets have stopped. Either a massive coincidence or.....

The main reason I bought this product is because it included a "lead" test. I have tried to follow instructions to the letter, but the pipette doesn't work properly and so it is incredibly difficult to know what "two pipettes-ful" (as per instructions) is equivalent to. Considering it is just water, not some dangerous substance, just put a small line or a mark on the actual plastic cup used for test (which is included) and tell the customer to fill with water until the mark! Much easier, much more accurate, no confusion. Whether because the pipette was malfunctioning or for other reasons, the lead test came back as inconclusive so this was a waste of £20.In fairness, it seemed more accurate than other brands for testing other parameters (e.g. water hardness).In hindsight, I would NOT buy this as I have since realised that my local water company can provide tests of water quality. If you're in the UK and that's what you are after, do not buy this, contact your water company instead.

J'ai utilisé ce produit pour vérifier l'efficacité d'un osmoseur que je viens de faire installer chez moi. Le test est concluant sur nitrates, nitrites, plomb, chlore, ph, dureté, pesticides. Le test bactéries est en cours, c'est le seul qui prend 48h.A noter : la notice est en anglais, pour les pesticides, le test prend en compte les pesticides les plus fréquemment utilisés aux US.

This was quick and easy, and matched the results of a different test I bought. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to have a general idea of the quality of their tap water.Be warned... you are going to be matching colored test strips to colors on a chart. This is not going to be an exact scientific number. It will, however, tell you to where you might have issues. For me, I was at around 300-350 on the hard water chart when I should have been below 50. All other test results were fine on both this test and another that I had purchased. So when I had a service "professional" show up at my house later to give me a free analysis, and he told me that my water was also full of bacteria and very acidic, I felt comfortable tell him to leave. I felt even better when a second actual professional told me that my water was fine, aside from it being very hard.
