OXO Good Grips POP Cookie Jar, White, Grey, Medium - 2.8 Litre

This not only looks great but it’s easy to open and the biscuits stay really fresh in it. This is the second one I’ve had and I love it. Would highly recommend.

I added this to my christmas list last year, as I had run out of ideas, and could not find a novelty biscuit jar I liked in the tiem I had to write the list.I am so glad I did - It may be plain and simple looking, but it works a treat, is just soo easy to use, and also really easy to clean (as a fan of dragon and fairy shaped things, I can state they are an unmittigated pain to clean)It is robust as it is used pretty much daily by my son and his freinds, who now in their teenage years have not only a ravenous appetite and waft through the kitchen like a plague of locusts but have also lost the ability to gently do anything ( many a broken door lock, tea cup etc....) and has been through the dishwasher many times in the last year without any issues ( I handwash the top, it takes seconds and I do not want to risk the vacuum mechanism, it really is no bother to give it a rinse as it rarely gets anything on it - only one jaffa cake incident in the summer when number one son had left it on the windowsil and the chocolate on the biscuits had melted)Also, as it is clear - it is easy to see when it needs to be restocked. Admittedly I do find that as it is clear it does entice you to a quick biscuit , as you can clearly see them calling to you , but perhaps that is just me.definitely thumbs up.

I love these OXO jars and have several in different shapes and sizes. They are very easy to open and close - perfect also for those with arthritis and therefore little strength in their hands.I use this jar for biscuits - both savoury and sweet, and it keeps them crisp and fresh.Would definitely recommend.

These Oxo Storage containers are brilliant, they are very sturdy and great that you can see what is in the jar and when it needs to be filled up. The lid is great for people with dexterity problems as you just push the button up it pops and can get into jar, then pop it down to close with airtight seal which keeps the freshness of the food in. I have bought 3 of these for my biscuits/crackers. They also look so good.

Biscuits and cookie. I have never really had anywhere to live in our house apart from the packet that they're in. So after a long time having the annoyance of soggy biscuits decided to purchase the Good Grips pop cookie jar. It arrive well packaged and quickly. The 'pop' jars are a novel idea if a rather expensive one. The idea is that the lid has a special seal on it and a button in the middle. Simply fill the jar up and then press the button to create a vacuum in the jar which ensures that crisps, biscuits, cereal etc doesn't go soft. It works really well, and when you wish to open the jar you just press the button and the lid removes very easily.

So glad I purchased this cookie jar. I've cleaned (easy to do) and plopped in some mini muffins (as seen in photo) It's so nice and just the right size. I love the airtight lid it's also easy to open with a push of the button, you can do it with one hand as the jar has a rubber grip at the bottom keeping it sturdy. It's plastic and not glass so its light and would be perfect for people that have disabilities. Definitely recommend and well worth the price. I'll also definitely be purchasing some more from this brand.

Bought for elderly mother who struggled to open a proper biscuit barrel. This is so easy to operate, just press big button in middle, lid lifts off, sit lid back on and press button back down. No soggy biscuits, it's nice and airtight. Very light as it's plastic, also safer in case it gets knocked off the bench. Can get washed in dishwasher. Has rubber bottom to stop it sliding about. The hole when the lid is taken out, is plenty big enough to get your hand in and it holds a decent amount of biscuits. This is the medium sized one, there is a smaller and a larger version but this is just right for its purpose- extremely happy with it.
