Cath Kidston Sewing Book: Over 30 Exclusively Designed Projects Made Simple Paperback – Illustrated, 23 Oct. 2014

As a beginner I find lots of lovely ideas that I feel brave enough to try. As with any book there will be some items that are not to everyone's taste or interest, but that's ok. The tips added to each set of instructions are quite interesting and helpful. I like it as a good book with understandable instructions and enough pictures to make the steps clear, encouraging the reader to give it a go. Would definitely recommend to someone who is starting out - maybe not as a complete novice but a beginner looking for some new challenges and projects that don't require any scarily advanced skills yet.

Bought this book as a gift for myself. I have a couple of Cath Kidston's other sewing books, and think that this is the best yet. All projects instructions are really clear, even for an idiot like me, and I have already made the sewing case roll and the tissue box covers. Already planning my next project - the only problem is deciding which one it should be.....

A book full of really useful things to make and a nice ready to make kit included. A lot of the items would suit a beginner. I have other Cath Kidston craft books but I have never been tempted to buy the crochet and knitting tin kits due to bad reviews and bad wool, I only wish she would produce a knitting and crochet book next.

Great for beginners. I've learnt to sew when I was younger but over the years I got rusty. Great book to get back into it. I've not tried the harder ones yet as some were tricky but fab for first timers or to get back into an old hobby. Would definitely recommend! The projects are great too including the bags!

Perfect book for both beginners and experienced sewers as there is always something to learn.

I bought this as a gift for my Girlfriend who is very keen on sewing. She was extremely pleased with this book and tells me it is very clear and easy to follow. It comes with a few bits and bobs to get you on your way. Was a good buy.

This is a really great project book with some great ideas it was a nice touch with the little sewing pouch toget you started, I just want to work my way through it , what's not to love
