Amazing
BE WARNED THIS KEEPS DRINKS HOT FOR A LONG TIMEPlease dont ignore the above. I nearly took the skin off my top lip when I first used it on my way to work. Half hour into my journey i was at traffic lights and thought i'd have a sip of Tea, i dont like tepid drinks it has to be either HOT or COLD for me. Anyway i took a sip incase it was luke warm and my goodness it was PIPING Hot.I really love it, its great for taking over the fields to watch the rugby and for my 1.30hr to work and back.

I bought two of these two years ago - they still work and are in one piece. Leakproof and they really do keep drinks VERY hot - do not be tempted to pre-warm the flask as you would with other flasks, you will burn yourself! I make my drinks at about 7am and they are still nice and hot at 3.30. The lockable lid is a good safety feature. These have been invaluable during these Covid 19 times when I am unable/unwilling to use communal kettle etc at work. I have three of these and they see me through the day. On one of the flasks the small hinge sometimes comes out - I just keep an eye on it and push it back in. The other ones are fine so I think it is a 'one off' fault.

Is it possible to be TOO hot?! and Poor quality
This small flask (with drinking spout) is so well insulated it keeps the drink extremely hot for hours.I find I have to leave the lid off for an hour before I can actually drink my tea. I've never had anything keep hot drinks so hot for so long, brilliant!Updated 19/01/2018 - Reduced to two stars due to quality. I had to return the first travel mug within two weeks because the lock on the catch failed and the lid came open in my bag. The second mug has just started leaking through the hinge on the mug, and the paint has started peeling off the outside. Would not recommend these, quality is poor.

Wouldn't be without my flask!
This is similar in design to a model 3-4 times the price but works just as well from what I can tell - my friends own the branded version! I tend to use this for hot water or coffee - for hot water with a mix of half cold/hot it will keep it at a good temperature for 3-4 hours. With coffee it will keep it hot for I'd say 10-12 - I tend to drink it within 5-6 hours of making it and it's still extremely hot, so I open the lid to leave it to cool during my lunch!Love the easy open function with the button and the lockable lid. You can remove the seals for cleaning too.Highly recommended.

Lasted a year - avoid
Was really satisfied with this purchase in the beginning. The mug locked airtight and the contents stayed fresh for a long time, essentially for as long as you wanted. It's a bit tricky to make the contents reach a temperature safe to drink but you'll get there.Unfortunately, within a month the colouring from the bottom of the cup tore apart. Finally, a few days ago (a little bit over a year since bought) it started leaking from the cup, for no apparent reason. When inspecting closely I realised that the seals had loosened. Unacceptable to buy a product and have it last only a year with normal use. At least I realised it soon enough and it did not leak in my bag and laptop. Avoid.

Leaked right out of the box
In the past, I have had 2 Kooyi flasks and bought several as presents. They are really hard wearing and long lasting.. These were the original Kooyi ones with their logo on the flask itself. The one I was sent was in a Kooyi box but there was no branding on the cup itself. To me, it seems of an inferior quality. This one does have a 'lockable' lid but that's no use if the lid leaks anyway. Going back for a refund and making sure I order the Kooyi flask I usually get.

This flask really does keep things hot! At least 3 hours after making my drink in the morning it is still burning hot. Making your drink at the temp you want to have it later for is the way around this, it has a lock that prevents leaks and the seal is really good too.It does everything it says in the description and I am very happy with it.
