Highlander Universal Plug, White

I ordered two, they are plastic and not as flexible as I thought they'd be. They both work ok, although in a smaller sink the contours of the plug hole and the plastic hardness of the plug means that water drains slowly out. In the bigger sink the plug keeps the water in fine. One disappointment with this product is that the metal ring attached to the plug has begun to rust and left discoloured marks on the top of the plug where it rests. The slight stain is removable with cleaning, but not what I wanted to see on a white product in regular contact with water!

Will not work on every plug waste but works on most I have tried. It works by making a flexible seal over the waste not by wedging around the hole like most plugs. So the water pressure holds it down. Therefore it could easily be moved. But overall quite good really.

Not great, its plastic not rubber so doesnt give as tight a seal... and the metal ring goes rusty.It just about does the job if you don't need a sink to stay full for more than a few minutes.

Had some builds come round to do some work on my bathroom only to find that they had thrown out my bath plug along with some rubble. Needing an emergency bath plug I bought this and it does the job. For this interested these universal plugs don't fit snugly in the bath / sink hole rather they sit on top and the rubber creates a seal and the weight of the water keeps it in place. I was worried about how this was going to work but it fine.

For the price, the plug is absolutely fine. However the metal ring arrived "ready rusted" and had stained the plastic. Not a big deal, but I've replaced the ring with a loop of nylon cord to avoid rust stains on anything else.

It's OK but nothing to write a review about. Except that mine was grey and not white as shown in the photograph. Also it didn't have a metal ring as shown also. Ok for camping or occasional use, but not as an everyday kitchen sink plug.

Worked effectively, but seems to pick up orange muck around the ring. Not really sure why or what it is but it wipes off easily with water.

Didn't find it particularly universal but I doubt any of them are. Still, it slows the flow rate well enough.
