Great for a beginner
I just started playing this nice little instrument. I am a total beginner, in banjolele and also in music! I'm having a great time with it and love every bit of it. It looks nice and sounds nice and feels very sturdy, a robust well made instrument and a fantastic price. If you are just getting started this is perfect for you, do not hesitate.

Newcomer to the ukulele
I bought this ukulele on the positive feedback from other reviewers. It is a robust, good looking instrument and it came with a bridge position indicator which made installation very easy. I also bought an electronic clip on tuner and don't think as a novice I could have managed without it. There are various web sites that explain both bridge positioning and clip on tuners and I found them very helpful. I am also finding that on-line sites for tutorials on chords are helping me get started. The quality of the ukulele bag is good. Cheers

The Quality
Got a Tenor Ukulele a week ago for a similar price, i am a complete novice still working my way through basic chord changes, although my Uke is great, no complaints whatsoever, i knew this was a different animal before i even got it out of the box.The weight! it 'feels' like a serious bit of kit, it looks great and to my untrained ear.. Sounds great too.I have no idea what you get for paying more but i, for one, am delighted with this.I also got extra strings, a plastic gauge to place the bridge and a spanner type thing for pins around the banjo which i hope i shall never need :D

Not bad, but the accessories are junk!
Save yourself the money and just buy the instrument on its own. The tuner doesn't work at all, the spare strings are unusable and the bag is as flimsy as they come. The banjolele is actually quite nice though after the sharp fret edges had been filed down.

Excellent, well made instrument
Excellent musical instrument. Great sound and worth the money. Sturdy price of equipment.Doesn’t come with setting up instructions as the bridge is attached to the neck but easy enough to work out.

Great value banjolele package
Very complete package, real value getting the bag and tuner. Banjo itself is well built and and sounds okay, good for a bit of fun playing and makes George formby tunes sound great vs. A uke

A very poor experience
This instrument arrived with no instruction as to how to position and fix what I later learned was a floating bridge. Because of this I managed to break one of the strings. There was a fault on the zip of the gig bag.The instructions for placing the battery were inadequate. Not making it clear which way up the battery should be placed.I will get the banjolele st up and restrung at a local music shop. I will cope with the faulty gig bag. This save me from the tedious and annoying process of returning the instrument, but you should know The I am hugely dissatisfied with what has happened. Please let me have your comments!
