This is not only a good solution for cleaning flasks, such as a thermos, but essentially the only really viable solution. For years I have poked a metal scrubber into flask and pushed it around with a wooden spoon to clean the flask, but with this just drop the chainmail into the flask and shake it vigorously. Quick, easy and very effective.

This scrubber is brilliant for cast iron pans. I've no idea how it is as effective as it is, but a few seconds swishing it about the pan with just a little water seems to get just about anything off it. Definitely not for use on a non-stick pan or enamel, just a 'seasoned' pan - though I've also used it cleaning the inside of a stainless steel water bottle and the inside of jars - places that are harder to get to with a normal sponge. If you like cooking with cast iron I'd say it's a must-have.

Works well , I was surprised it does the cleaning job without damage to the pan or it's season . This with minimal effort .

I've used sponges and the lodge plastic scrappers - this chain mail makes it even easier to clean the pan and removes all the debris easily. This is what I use everytime now.

I’ve had a ridged cast iron pan for years that is great for cooking steak but a nightmare to clean.It still takes a little while with this, but it’s so much easier and the results are excellent

the scrubber is made very well. i use it on my carbon steel, cast iron and even my stainless steel pans with no scratching. best way in my opinion to remove carbon on your pans without also removing the seasoning as well.

As expected, great for cleaning wok but seems not so great for cast iron skillets just because the the size of the hoops, it cannot really grip to anything, still ok as if you use warm water with it, (as you should), it still does the job.
