Its great that it can clean delicate stones such as pearls and opals.

From my use of this item is does seem good and certainly cleans my silver jewellery very well.However the product I recieved had leaked in transit due to the lid not being in place correctly. Therefore the majority of this cleaner was in fact gone when it arrived. I was left with about a centimetre of cleaner at the bottom.It did work well though and my silver necklace is looking shiny and sparkly once more.The seller was very helpful and did issue a refund for the product. I think I was just unfortunate as the lid had been screwed on at an angle which is what caused the leak.Overall I would recommend this product based on my one use and I do think that the leakage was a genuine one off and is not a reflection on the item or the seller. (Let's face it... This jewellery cleaner is great at getting tarnished silver shining again.It has a little suspension basket for holding small items while you dunk them.There's also a tiny little brush to help clean some of the more stubborn bits.I used the solution on items with diamonds with no problem.I read reviews on other Goddards products where users put jewellery with stones in and ruined their pieces. The other products were NOT specifically jewellery cleaning solutions, whereas this one is. Just thought that I'd mention that here.It is super easy to use, just completely submerge your jewellery in the solution for 2 minutes, give it a bit of a scrub with the brush if necessary then rinse with water and dry. I had some seriously tarnished pieces that I left for over 5 minutes, they're on their way back to being beautiful once more, but I will need to redo them again and I might get an old toothbrush rather than the supplied brush to give them a really good scrub.I did my earrings the other day, soaked, brushed, rinsed and dried then put them straight back in. Absolutely no issues at all.Something worth noting is that the solution is meant to be used multiple times and as you use the solution over and over again, it will get darker and darker. I'm not sure at what point it's deemed "done" and needs to be discarded.

Handy cleaning kit does a great job and is good value

The product is fine. However, Amazon packaged it with another item, and as it’s only a screw top container, about a third of the cleaning liquid leaked out over the other item in the package and soaked it and the box it came in. As it was a plastic dog feeding station, my dog won’t go near it because it smells of the cleaning solution, and washing it hasn’t removed the smell, so I now have to try and return the feeding station in a soggy box.

I wished to message the seller directly (like on Etsy) but it doesn't seem possible on Amazon, so my only option seems to be to leave product feedback. It seems the seller recognised the lid of this product doesn't have the best seal and had added sellotape round the edge of the lid. However, this did not work. The product had been leaking in transit. I didn't know until I unwrapped the bubble wrap and got the liquid all over my hands. I was able to wash them quickly and sit the pot upright, but the fluid had leaked through the sellotape as well as the lid so it wasn't sticking at all. I would guess about 80 percent of the product arrived in the pot and I feel it would be inappropriate to attempt to return a leaky pot, so have accepted it as it is and given it a go on some jewellery over the weekend. However, my overall view is:I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT IF IT HAS TO BE POSTED AS THE POT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR POSTING.(Hence one star for a product on a website which requires postal delivery)Having decided not to return it, I decided to at least get some use out of what did arrive. This product is a cleaner and it worked well on two rings to remove general grime and did make them much brighter, but its not a silver polish and didn't remove tarnish.

Brings jewellery back to life, it's like the things cleaned are brand new

Unfortunately the lid on the jar is not a good tight fit and was leaking by the time it got to me - and still is if its not up straight!
