Gave this as a secondary gift to my niece on her 3rd birthday. She absolutely loved it and immediately started making up all the adults present (including the males) and showing them how they looked in the compact. She wouldn't part with it, even when going to bed later AND when she was flying home the next day, this was the bag she wanted to carry. Contains, eye shadow palette with 3 colours and one applicator, 1 lip gloss with roller, 1 blusher, 1 compact with pressed powder & mirror, 3 different brushes, cosmetic bag with bright flowery pink pattern on one side and is see through on the other. The brushes are also in their own little pink bag with tie ribbon to keep them together. Once I told the mums present that it was made for purpose and non-staining and washable, they all wanted to know where I got it from and wanted one for their own daughters, nieces, granddaughters etc. There was also enough in the bag for my niece and another little 5yr old girl to play with together without each wanting the bits the other had. So it's obviously of interest not just to 3yr olds but 5yr olds too and was very affordable. There were another couple of sets available but I choose this one because I didn't really want nail polish (liquids) in case they'd be could be spilt or even drunk/ingested. So this was HUGE hit all round. Mum also happy that, when she's putting her own make up, daughter can do with her own set, rather than mum have to placate her with REAL make up which is harder to wash off and too harsh on young skin.

Couldn't leave a review until now as I bought this a while ago as a birthday present for my 2 year old to go with a vanity table ( she is obsessed with watching me do my make up ) I wanted something non transferable due to her young age and this certainly has ticked all the boxes , the quality is astounding and it actually feels and looks like real make up , she is absolutely obsessed and has sat at her little table since her birthday doing her make up ... fantastic product

My 3 year old loves it.I was a little disappointed as the branding half rubbed off within a couple of days, and the powderpuff broke.Not great quality, but still rated high as my daughter loves it.

When my daughter asked for pretend make up for Christmas, I wasnt really sure I'd find anything I liked. But I'm really pleased with this set. It's just like the real thing and I know she will get more out of it than the ones that look like toys.Although I like the product, I think it is quite expensive for what it actually is.

My daughter loves makeup and using my stuff soI thought this was a brilliant idea! She was so excited when she opened this! Although she thought it was real and slightly disappointed it wasn't! This is great as it really looks the part and even though it's pretend she does still carry it around in her handbag and likes to 'put it on' everyone!

Great little set, my 21 month old grandaugther loves them. The eye make up and powder boxes are a little difficult for a young child to open but other than that all good

My 4 year old granddaughter loved it, its just like her mums. Brushes are soft and the compacts open easily. Ideal for the budding make up artist. Only downside I can see is for an older child who might actually want something to show on their skin. It is expensive but the pleasure my granddaughter has had made it worth it.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she's 2 almost 3. It's absolutely perfect and it's not left her side since she got it. Everywhere we go, she takes it with her to give someone a makeover. It's great as I don't have to worry about make up going everywhere.
