Its a very nice coat but i would take notice of the pit to pit measurrments and not the suggested size , they are very large if you follow the suggested size , i have exchanged mine for a medium to fit a 44 inch chest, if they dont show the pit to pit measurement here just have a look on ebay where some of them show it. A very nice looking and quality jacket though, well worth it. Edit after 1 month. The elasticated string around the waist has broken, one of the pockets stitching has come undone , the stitching under the arm has come undone. All can be fixed but not ideal on a coat thats quite new, am wondering whats next to give up. Sorry but will reduce to two star review .

The fit is great, but a little larger than expected, which actually is a good thing.The jacket is very warm with the fleece lining in the body area and good to see that a non fleece lining was used in the sleeves, which makes putting in on and taking it off much easier than if it was fleece.Zips and components appear to be good quality and in keeping with the function of the jacket.Pockets are a good size, chest pocket is very good. Waist pockets could perhaps be all-through from either side, which would give even more storage and flexibility. Hood is excellent.The use of a breathable outer and taped seams would put the price up, but it would still be an excellent purchase then at even double the price.I would have liked a wider velcro strip on the cuffs as it is a little narrow which tends to let the fastening twist. I will also be extending the velcro actually on the sleeve (not the velcro tab), so that I can fasten the cuffs tighter.Is summary the jacket has impressed me with it's quality and warmth for the price. Very good and I am thinking of buying another in a different colour.

Jacket came on 48hr carrier and was just as expected. Slightly on the large side but as a medium its OK and would suite anyone between 38-42" chest. has hem draw chord and hood tensioners. Not big and heavy, more light and padded, would certainly keep you warm with a couple of layers underneath Not tried it in the rain yet, but it looks a pretty decent rain/shower stopper. It has a kangaroo chest pocket with waterproof zip and two zipped hand warmer pockets on the side. Finished with a zip opening on the lower right hand side to ease getting it on and off, but don't really use it.

I like this product overall, it is as expected, not as water resistant but it is lightweight and not for heavy wear. It waterproof enough for light use. I am not sure yet what waterproofing is best for it just get for when it needs washing and proofing again. The pockets are a struggle sometimes with the zippers but the only failure is the zippers for the breast pocket I know if will leak as I owned one before. It's perfect for light use not heavy rain but will manage light short showers.

Fit is just about perfect when wearing a t-shirt. It would be snug with a jumper on. I'm 6"2' so have faily long arms. I bought a xl and this covers my wrists and waist well.I have only just got it so I can't comment on warmth, but it looks like it's going to be very warm. The fleece is certainly thick and included in the hood.Outer shell looks shower proof but probably not for heavy rain or any length of time.Looking forward to taking it camping for nights around the fire.

Nice looking, warm throw-on jacket with a good sized hood. I erred on the side of caution and ordered a size bigger than I usually go for - to allow for layers (size 16/18 - I went for XXL) - and am very pleased with my purchase. Very prompt delivery..Hope this helps

Bought for my husband and he loves it, it's well made. He Say's it's really easy to put on and take off, it looks great on and he says it's really comfy. Great jacket for rainy and windy days
