I use this to fix my Osmo Pocket to the top of my DSLR. I point the Osmo's lens to the same spot as the DSLR so I have the same eyeline for both when doing my vlog. The whole purpose is to have a backup footage if one of them stops in the middle. (Both have in the past, but not both at the same time).The little adapter is well-made, lightweight and perfect for the job. The fastening screw on top of the hot shoe mount works perfectly and the gopro mount is the right size. Happy with this purchase.

A good quality fully aluminium product.This works really well with my DSLR camera, I have it mounted on my Canon 7D mk2 so that I can film my son when he is running whilst also getting great photos of him. You do hear the back ground noise of the camera shutter but that is due to the camera and it being mounted so near the DSLR and there is no way to avoid this. I've had cheaper hotshoe Gopro mounts and they have that stupid double wheel adjustment. They never go tight enough to keep my Osmo Action in place.This, on the other hand, is a solid piece with a single wheel that is only for tightening to the hotshoe. The action cam is held firmly in place by the side screw.I wish this had been a bit cheaper, but more importantly the screw that comes with it is every so slightly short in my view. The end bolt only just screws on a little bit so you have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get it reasonably tight.I think a slightly longer screw would make it easier to adjust.All that said, it's holding my action cam in place, but tightening the screw into the side bolt (which is separate) is a little bit fiddly. If you have to take the cam out of this mount regularly I can see that would be a pain in the rear.So very good, but not quite perfect and could perhaps have been just a little cheaper.

Good value for money. Cheap and durable, but unfortunately not 100% «lock» even when using max power on the attachment screw (which means if you accidentally bump your GoPro screen, it will tilt.) Not a superbig deal, just be aware when filming. Otherwise, great product!

This is a great product. I used it for attaching a GoPro on the Camera Hotshot. its a great way to create a video log as you are taking the images.One downside is that the GoPro has a very lens and sitting on top of the hotshoe means that you video also captures the front of your camera lens,other than that, a greta product

Fantastic simple piece of kit. Slides into the hot shoe position and screws down to lock into place. I was trying to take pictures on my camera while simultaneously film a triathlon on my phone so decided to go looking for a solution and have not been disappointed with this!

Absolutely terrible. The mount became loose on entry and lost my GoPro before the first dive of a week long trip. I can only blame myself because I wasn't happy with the quality in the first place but didn't expect it to be as poor. Stay away if you value your gear.

Es una pieza muy bien hecha en aluminio, que encaja perfectamente en la GoPro. Con ésta pieza sujetas la GoPro al porta flash de la cámara reflex ó cualquier cámara que tenga esa posibilidad, que son la mayoría, por lo que puedes hacer un time lapse al mísmo tiempo con cada cámara, usando un sólo trípode. Me parece una idea genial.

Ich habe das Zubehörteil erworben um die Unterwasserleuchte für meine GoPro auch als quasi "Kopflicht" zum Filmen mit einer DSLR oder Systemkamera nutzen zu können. Dafür ist es perfekt. Wie alle Zubehörteile von Smatree für die GoPro, so ist auch dieses sehr gut gefertigt und wirkt, auch durch den Werkstoff Aluminium, sehr wertig. Wenn es darauf ankommt, vertraue ich den Alu-Schrauben und Befestigungen eher als den Originalen aus Kunststoff. Über und unter Wasser.

Ottima scelta per portarsi dietro sempre la vostra GoPro insieme alla reflex. Piccolo e difficile da perdere si adatta perfettamente alla slitta del flash (sia Nikon che Canon), è anche abbastanza robusto e facilissimo (ovviamente) da utilizzare.Confezione veramente minimale (ma cos'altro si può chiedere a questo prezzo) ma ben imballata. Amazon veloce come sempre nella consegna, tempi rispettati.Ve lo consiglio sicuramente se, come me, siete stufi di portarvi sempre dietro un supporto anche per la vostra Action Cam (funziona su tutte quelle che sfruttano la stessa base della GoPro) che intralcia la vostra voglia di fare foto. Avrete così le mani sempre libere per lavorare sui comandi della vostra macchina, oltre che potrete usare la stessa reflex come "guida" per la GoPro. Per il prezzo si merita assolutamente 5 stelle! Soddisfatto!
