Very good quality dried fruit
Very good quality dried fruit. I have to soak the fruit before using, otherwise my cakes / buns end up with little bullets in them. And let's face it, who wants to pay for the water (or the vegetable oil!!!) that is in many other dried fruits anyway? I prefer to buy highly dried fruit and soak before using. :-)))))

disgusting strong chemical taste
As soon as i opened these, i got a whiff a strong uninviting aroma of some sort of chemical smell (reminded me of being in primary school for some reason) ...chucked a few in my mouth .. and the taste was worse .. eventually, when chewing, the juices from the raisins blend in, and the nasty taste becomes slightly less noticeable .. until you put the next handful in .. and the same happens again .. i only put a second handful in .. to double check .. like when you smell a bad smell, and smell again to double check how bad it is :)i vaguely remembered reading someone (Dereena) mentioned in a review they thought they tasted of plastic .. i assumed they were perhaps unlucky and got a bag from a bad batch, or if indeed a problem with plastic, would be fixed by now (2 years later) ... because Suma are excellent in my opinion .. and the apparently same Suma raisins in the 250g bags, which i had just finished (made from a different thinner crispier plastic), were amazing ... not a hint of this disgusting smell or taste ... That was why i went ahead and purchased this bag. This nasty taste and smell is soo strong .. how can suma not know about this .. but also .. surely there would be more than just 2 negative reviews in 2 years if this was same in every bag ? .. there's no way anyone else would be happily eating these and not notice if theirs was even a fraction of this unpalatable taste ... so perhaps not everyone is having the same experience as I and DereenaI don't know what happened .. But that was my experience ...The full bag will be disposed of, as i believe whatever is causing that taste would not be good for ones health, and have since ordered a different brand to replace these. Spoke with Amazon and received a full refund ...PS - the bag they came in, is a thick plastic, with a very sticky feel to it .. as in, the plastic itself, generally feels sticky ..I have received otehr Suma products in this same sticky plastic packaging, and while the stickiness of it left me wondering how much residual plastic or chemicals may be leeching into the foods, the products never tasted anything like this, and were generally fine ... Perhaps they werent stored in the plastic long enough ... or in a warm enough environment .. or perhaps the nature of raisins and chemicals from the raisins, sucks or leeches residual chemicals from the plastic, that the pumpkin seeds or whatever else dont ...

sultanas included!
Our pack had at least half of it full of sultanas! This really is not fair practise - and although we have bought thingsfrom Suma before and been pleased, this was not good.

Plastic
Not sure if it's the plastic, but the products I've recently bought from Suma, all wrapped in heavy plastic, taste weird. Unnatural and very sweet. Shame as they are organic. They should take a look at the packaging or are they adding sweeteners?

These used to be cheaper.
I used to buy these regularly but it seems the price has been hiked. I'm sure they used to be similar price to the Suma Organic Sultanas.

Allergy sufferers be aware.
Not impressed with the packaging. The bag arrived with many slits in, which Amazon promptly sorted out by offering replacement or refund. They taste ok, we use them for baking. It would help if the description pointed out, that these may include traces of nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, gluten, soya, milk and sulphured fruit - so not suitable for most allergy sufferers.
