Rectangular Metal Reading Eyeglasses (+ 0.75 Diopter Strength, Black)

These are fantastic, high quality durable glasses with anti-glare coating. Much better than alternatives sold in grocery stores. If you need just simple spherical lenses, the lens quality rivals that of 10x more expensive glass lenses. The frame is all-metal. It is sturdy but light. It has no screws, so no piece will come loose over time. Come in a simple semi-transparent plastic case, soft cloth included. Very convenient.Initially, this was the only seller that sold +0.5 glasses which I use for working with a large monitor. Over time, appreciating the quality, I bought a few more for reading and working with tiny DIY stuff and because I gave away a few of these to friends. One of the shipments was lost. As we all know, it is impossible to find reading glasses with lower diopters than +1.00 at any local retailer. And, the +1.00 diopter is very , very difficult to find, also. So, these glasses purchased thru Amazon are great. Very sturdy, the lenses can be removed since the frames have screws (unlike those usually available at local stores), and the lenses have an excellent clarity. Not mentioned on Amazon is the fact that Shipping cost, while fairly high in comparison to the product's cost, is not duplicated when you buy multiple pairs of eyeglasses. I bought 2 pr: +0.75 diopter and +2.00 diopter, and the shipping charge remained at the single rate. (Maybe it would go up if the shipping weight increased to the next tier, if you ordered a larger number of eyeglasses.)

These glasses seem to be of good quality. The only thing I would like is larger lenses to see through. I think the lenses are glass, which will protect against scratching the lenses durring cleaning them. I wish my regular glasses from the doctor were of such quality. The price of these glasses are much cheaper compaired to the doctor prescribed eye glasses I bought for over 300 dollars. I will probly just buy more of these reading glasses before I go back to the doctor and pay for an examine and then frames and lenses. These are great for reading and the other pair I bough are great for seeing far away. Point 75 for far away works for me. Next time I will probly buy point 1 for far away clear viewing when the point 75 no longer do the job. Thanks.

Lens clarity matters to me, and these glasses have very nice lenses, with anti-glare and scratch resistance (+ UV protection) comparable to prescription quality, but only $13! Not like the cheapo reading glasses at all, but still inexpensive enough that you don't worry about losing them.The frames look clean and modern enough, Real sizing numbers is a good indicator of quality too. These fit my slightly-less than "average-width" male head nicely. It actually came with a real cleaning cloth, and a hard case that is right-sized for the glasses (i.e. light, and just barely bigger) so I might actually use it.I bought two pairs at differing strengths/colors, and will now buy 6 total. I will not buy the three packs or the drug store readers again, the clarity and durability is worth the little more cost.

Excellent quality for a $20 reader. Hard to get in touch with the company by phone though. I ordered these to try out the strength needed for a set of computer readers that I wanted to get. When I tried to call the company on the included card, there was never an answer or an voicemail. I have since ordered a couple new pairs, and am still waiting on them. If you order, do it from Amazon. Don't mess with these sellers directly.

great quality for the price. They fit great but if these are your first reading glasses, they cover a small area so it takes some getting used to. If you sit up in bed to read, you have to find just the right angle so that the area you are reading is completely covered by the glasses.

It was nice to see some off the shelf reading glasses at the hard to find strength of 0.75 for such a reasonable price! I did not see this strength in the gun metal color frame, so I emailed the seller to inquire and they were able to provide them in gun metal gray! It was also a nice bonus for the glasses to come with an anti glare coating. The total cost the glasses with shipping was 3x less than just the coating on my prescription glasses! Would buy again!

I guess these are made for anyone that has their nose up against the computer! I bought these to replace the readers that I had from rite aid that simply wore out at the ear pieces. Thinking I was 'upgrading' because of the 'computer' aspect, I slipped these on only to find that they were about as effective as the 3 for $5 reader's I get for the workshop that you have to be within 12" of your work for them to focus. Don't waste your money if you use your reader's for work!
