Not enough to send back but buy the end of the jar, the rancidity had increased and the oil tasted really unpleasant. So I searched for an alternative and tried this brand - what a lovely surprise. This oil is such good quality and so much better than the other brand ever was. It's light, creamy, lovely flavour, really nice smell and honestly I cannot fault it. I've been eating coconut oil for 10 years and this is by far the best I've ever tried. I hope future batches are as good as this jar. Das wiederverschließbare und versiegelte Bügelverschlussglas eignet sich darüber hinaus für verschiedene Weiterverwendungszwecke wie z. B. Einkochen oder Aufbewahrung. Der Bügelverschluss ist wertig verarbeitet und bietet ausreichend Anpressdruck für den Deckel, so dass auch flüssiger Inhalt bei liegendem Glasnicht austritt.Das Öl selbst bei Raumtemperatur fest, jedoch äußerst cremig und streichfähig. Geschmacklich konnte ich keinen Unterschied zu vergleichbaren Konkurrenzprodukten feststellen. Geruch und Geschmack sind kokostypisch, aber dennoch angenehm dezent, was besonders im Hinblick auf die Verwendung als Bratfett positiv hervorzuheben ist. Das Bratgut behält weitestgehend seinen Eigengeschmack bei.Das Öl kommt laut Herstellerinformationen aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau in Sri Lanka und entstammt der ersten Kaltpressung. Credo che l'olio di cocco sia una di quelle cose che, una volta scoperte, non si abbandonano più!Ho voluto provare l'olio di cocco dopo aver visto e letto numerose recensioni entusiaste fatte da blogger e make-up artist. Allora, essendo una prova, ho deciso di comprare questo per l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (rispetto a molti altri, e soprattutto rispetto a quelli che si possono trovare nei negozi di prodotti biologici, per un chilo di prodotto il prezzo è veramente ottimo), e oltretutto mi intrigava il barattolo :)L'olio è arrivato in tempo, perfettamente incluso in una scatola e protetto dagli urti. Il barattolo è abbastanza alto e all'apertura l'olio si presentava solido, di colore bianco. In realtà l'olio di cocco ha un punto di fusione intorno ai 25 gradi, per cui è molto facile portarlo allo stato liquido per utilizzarlo: basta lasciarlo per qualche minuto vicino al calorifero oppure a bagnomaria.Una volta aperto il barattolo, non si può non inspirare profondamente: io adoro il profumo del cocco, quindi l'olio di cocco per me ha anche la funzione di aromatherapy :) praticamente è un momento di coccola.L'olio di cocco può essere utilizzato per numerosi scopi, che ho scoperto girando nel web e soprattutto osservando video, per cui consiglio a chi volesse provarlo per la prima volta di fare una piccola ricerca, per poterne sfruttare i benefici al meglio.
