Great value. Simple, effective product
Other reviewers said product was thin and low quality. Well for £10 it gives you 2 metres of protection, with strips approx 10cm wide and 5mm deep cushioning. Magnetic tape is easy to cut and apply as needed. It has given me 3 protective strips that I can take on and off as I want.I haven't tested it, of course, but I think it will give good protection from those careless door dents suffered in car parks. So at £10 and £40 for a dent, that's a deal even if it stops just one person causing damage to your car.

Could be better but it works for the price..
The foam protection is great, alot of padding and more than enough to cover my car both sides (vaux astra) however.. it uses magnets to just stick onto the doors so often ive found them falling off and even finding it quite difficult to have them stick in the first place.. magnets very very weak.. I only use it in the car park overnight then take them off before driving. So it works but could be better, still a better alternative to the dents/scratches from idiot neighbours opening car doors into yours.

I'm so glad these exist!
This is wicked!I was lucky enough to get a new car recently and one of the things I love about it is that it DOESN'T look like a piece of junk. My last car was scratched to heck-n-back, mainly because inconsiderate people kept smashing their car doors into mine leaving nasty little white marks in a neat line along the passenger side. So.. when I got my new shiny (unmarked!) car I wanted something to protect it. So... I went to my mate Ama Zon and put in 'car door protector' not thinking that much would come up, eh, voila! This little beauty came up at the top of the search and for a little over £10 I thought it was worth a punt. It's great.I cut the rubber strip in half and used the magnetic strips (both of them - one at the top and the other along the bottom) and popped it on the car door. Door protected.Strangely, the magnetic strips provided (two of them) just about cover the length of the rubber strip. I naturally wanted to use both though (as described above) and doing it my way I only used half the rubber. I suppose I now have replacement rubber if the one I'm using gets worn but I did wonder why the magnetic strips weren't longer.Anyway, it's a great relief that the door will now stay free of nicks and scrapes. I just now need to hope nobody steels it off the side of the car!!!

Too short. Need 2-4 lots, so ends up expensive.
I’m really disappointed with this product. I love the idea of it but the foam strips are just not long, or wide enough. I should have measured my doors really, but I thought this would at least be long enough to cover the length of both doors considering they’ve displayed a car with its entire length covered. It’s not enough close. I knew the width of the strips would likely not be enough before I made the purchase, so I figured I might order another roll later and have two parallel strips either side, but as they are not long enough as well as not wide enough I would have to get at least 4 rolls total to get adequate protection and I don’t fancy paying £52 for a bit of foam…especially when the magnetic strip isn’t even self adhesive. You have to stick the double sided tape to magnetic strip, then stick that to the foam. I’m quite fond of DIYs and I'm more than happy to do a little work if it cuts costs (hence why I bought this) but this doesn’t seem like it’s worth the money to me when you need to purchase it 4 times. If 2 was enough then I wouldn’t mind.I cant speak for the adhesion/magnet strength/longevity e.t.c. as I didn’t go ahead with any assembling after seeing the lack of coverage. For reference I have a 3 door Vauxhall Corsa. Now, I know the doors are pretty long on a three door car but I’d want coverage on all (4) doors if I had a 5 door anyway. So, unless you have a limousine I don’t see the difference.

Fair quality for a fair price. Why all the negative reviews, they don’t deserve negative reviews.
What is with all the negative reviews. They are foam strips that attach to your car by a magnetic strip already fixed to the foam. They are exactly as described and do the job. I can’t fault them, in fact I placed a second order. I really can’t say a bad word about them. Some people say they need instructions. Why, they areMagnetic and you put them on your car. I didn’t need instructions to do that.
