LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 (PS3)

We have several games of the Lego variety. Unfortunately, this one does not rank the highest ( Lego Marvel Superheroes in our house).If you are uninitiated in the Lego games, they all follow a similar format with things to build, bricks to explode, certain characters that can achieve certain things and this carries through all the games with only the theme of the game changing I.e marvel, Lego movie, Harry Potter changing.The advantage for younger children is that the controls and method of play is very consistent.Unfortunately, with this game the biggest negative is that there is no dialogue so it is harder to follow the storyline ( so hopefully you will have read or watched the first four books/films). I think this means that therefore it doesn’t hold the children’s interest as much even though they have seen the films and are reading the books.It is ok as an addition to the collection, but I can’t rank it higher than that.

Bought this for my daughter as she is juts getting in to gaming. a great game for Harry Potter fans. a great family fund activity and one that has us all guessing at times.. it came quickly and as advertised.

Amazing. Love this game. My daughter and I have spent many hours playing so far. As we are both big fans of harry potter it has added to the love we already had for harry and the gang. Love that you can switch between players. And is very true to the details in the movie which is helpful if you know the franchise but also very well explained if you're not.
