My 2 and a half year old daughter loves these schleich animals. Excellent quality, intricate detailing. Daddy reindeer is a real favourite.

These aren't cheap, you could say they're a bit dear...deer!😂But they are extremely well made & last generations. There's not much around these days you could expect your kids to hand down to theirs in time, but this is a brand that can be trusted to do just that.

Very realistic!
Lovely, well made, well painted figure. Bought for a Christmas scene and many people have commented how realistic he is. Would be an excellent quality toy as well.

A man kills a deer and takes it home to cook for dinner. Both he and his wife decide that they won't tell the kids what kind of meat it is, but will give them a clue and let them guess. The kids were eager to know what the meat was on their plates, so they begged their dad for the clue. Well, he said, 'It's what mummy calls me sometimes'. Different plastic from most Schleich animals.
Somewhat disappointed with the material chosen to make this. The plastic is more flexible and feels slightly tacky to the touch. I imagine this is to accommodate the antlers which might otherwise be brittle, but I would choose other animals from the range over this if purchasing for others in the future.
