Grannick'sBitter Apple Taste Deterrent Refill, 16 oz

We have had about bottles of this to help with our Staffy puppy (who are reknowned for chewing everything)- it is brilliant and a life saver - you can spray it on everything (including people) to stop the little nippers chewing. After one or 2 uses the puppy learns not to go near the item/person/furniture to chew any more so you dont then need to keep spraying the same area over and over. I actually decanted it down and topped up with water to make it go further and it still worked. Also it doesnt stain anything so we used it on leather and fabric sofas, carpet, curtains, wooden tables etc...

In April we adopted a young, needy dog. She started licking the wooden legs of the new chairs so I bought this because I did not want to have to re-home the furniture!I applied the solution, on a cloth, to the offending legs and she's not touched them since even though she's teething! I also sprayed the carpets where she was missing the puppy pads and within no time she was clean.A small amount of money and we still have our happy, beautiful, much-loved little girl AND our furniture!

Works like a charm. We got our pup at 8 weeks old and within a week she lost interest in chewing on furniture or valuables. It took more than one application but might be easier with older dogs who are a bit smarter. When she discovered biting feet this also helped a good deal. Now she's teething for the second time we anticipate to need another round of the stuff but there is still plenty let in this refill.

This product has been great I could not live without it. My Boston Terrier now 11 months is a chewer but this has definitely deterred her and saved many a item being chewed so no damaged furniture for us. I have purchased Bitter Apple a few times and this refill at the time of purchase was the best value available. I topped up my existing two smaller spray bottles as that is how I had previously purchased I would highly recommend trying this if you have a new puppy or destructive dog.

This is brilliant, my dog absolutely loves the flavour, she will go and lick anything I spray with it and then proceed to chew the respective piece of furniture, bedding, skirting board, etc. with an ever-increased appetite. Oh, wait, was that not the point of it? Quite the opposite? Oh...

We have a 7 month old black lab - Ms Mischief. Our behaviourist recommended this product. Quick spray of the object she's thinking of or is chewing or biting, changes her mind. Works much better than mustard and easier to remove. I purchased this size and put it in a small garden spray where I can vary the spray jet as it works best on a single stream. This avoids spraying the dog by mistake.

For me waste of money put it down my puppy had a sniff and carried on chewing carpets and furniture. Only thing I found worked was pepper sounds mad but cheaper than replacing carpets etc:

I do not normally leave reviews but felt a warning may be appropriate to others. I have bought this product from another seller previously and it worked a treat. However this refill had flecks in it, like old cordial, which the original did not. It also did not deter my puppy as the previous product did. I am now beginning to doubt if it is genuine as I have tried it myself and there is no bitter taste to it at all. I would not buy again from this seller.
