Expanding Toilet Seat Fittings, Top Fix, WC Blind Hole Fittings, Pack of 2 High Quality British Product

I ordered, previously, two other sets of rubber bungs... the first had holes for 4.7mm bolts (which wasn't what I needed for my Jacuzzi brand toilet)... that was a lesson learned. I then spoke to another seller who assured me (and their picture showed me) they were selling rubber bungs that would take, and came with, 6mm bolts... they arrived and they were 4.4mm! They apologised and refunded me. I spoke to this Seller, here, who also assured me they were 6mm and told me he'd see me right if they didn't work. They turned up and they worked out fine... my Jacuzzi 6mm bolts went straight in there and all is well with the world. They even come with instructions on the packaging... which puts them in a different class to the other packages I'd bought.

I have one of those designery toilets that have a smaller-than-standard hole in the pottery. For years I've struggled to squeeze larger fittings into the wells. I like to remove the seat fairly regularly to give it a good clean, but dreaded doing so on every occasion. When a fitting failed, I'd have to go through the very stressful process of buying a new set, shaving away chunks of rubber from it, slathering on washing up liquid and using force to hammer them in to get them to fit (often fearing I would crack the pan!). This item arrived earlier than estimated and, Praise Be! fitted perfectly. Once screwed down, the seat fitted like a dream. I read all the feedback before buying and, trust me, I know the pain of which you all speak. Provided that you have one of the smaller holes in your WC pan, this is the product for you! Tip: Screw the bolt in as normal until the head gets close to the surface of the pan/fixing bracket. Then, use very slow, smooth, deliberate movements to tighten it until it holds really snugly. It works!

These were fantastic. I bought a new toilet seat a couple of years ago and the plugs supplied did not fit in the ceramic holes. I had to use old bolts and washers but was never secure. I have just bought two new seats and had the same problem! After investigation I found that most ceramic toilets have holes for fitting seats at 12mm or 18mm. Most seats have the 18mm plugs. Why can’t seats be supplied with both sizes of plugs?? Anyway, I bought three sets here and now all my toilet seats are securely fitted for first time!

My Cook and Lewis Rossini toilet seat bots broke and B&Q informed me the only option was a new seat - only a new seat wouldnt fit without taking the toilet totally out as its a closed unit - I was then told best option was to buy a new toilet!!! This little kit saved me all the trouble - absolutely brilliant. I would advise that I needed to use the washer otherwise it would have fallen through to start with - then I started to tighten the bolts and they seemed to turn and turn - I was thinking it wasnt going to tighten and work but then it started to get tighter and tighter and now my set is fitted better than it was with the original parts! Fan bloody tastic - thank you!!!! I have redeemed myself with my wife for breaking the original bolts when I decided to try and get the seat off to clean it!

having found that we needed a toilet seat with a top down fixing we were mortified to find the holes in the pan were only 13mm and the rawl plugs in the kit were 14mm. So thank you to this wonderful product from saving us, as we had to saw the old seat off before we found this out. Excellent, does exactly what it says.

A cracking product that saved me from having to pay a plumber to take my annoying toilet pan off of the wall. The design is such that the nuts for the screws that hold the fittings in place are inaccessible (unless you're Stretch Armstrong)! These expanding fittings have provided a snug fitting and once again we know the joy of being able to sit on an actual toilet seat. I've knocked off one star as there is a tiny bit of 'bounce' to the fittings (probably as they're rubber), but I'm sure they'll last for quite some time before needing replaced

Took a while to arrive - but that is probably due to the volume of Xmas mail. Anyway, the important thing is that they are as exactly as described and are of very good quality even if they are a bit more expensive than some other choices. Would definitely recommend them thogh. Fitting the new seat took just a few minutes.

Ideal for my toilet pan with seat fixing holes apparently smaller than standard. Enable easy 'from above' fixing rather than grovelling under the rear of the toilet.
